    In the summer of 2023, I hired Iman Roofing, a well-known Cleveland company, drawn in by their fliers and signs. Sulieman's pitch, emphasizing honesty and straightforwardness, aligned with our Muslim values, solidifying our agreement on a budget. However, post-payment, challenges arose, prompting a thoughtful evaluation. **1. Clean-Up Standards:** Construction's end should mean a pristine space. Unfortunately, Iman Roofing left traces, deviating from the cleanliness standards set by other Muslim businesses. **2. Employee Accountability:** Swift acknowledgment of property damage is vital. Iman Roofing's delayed response and attempts to discredit my concerns revealed a need for prompt resolution. **3. Communication and Response Times:** Project success relies on communication. Iman Roofing's delayed responses led to oversights and prolonged issues, magnifying complexities. **4. Scheduling Challenges:** A well-planned schedule was disrupted by Iman Roofing, with missed workdays and inadequate follow-up extending my project. Apologies, though offered, did little to alleviate the inconvenience. **5. Inclusive Communication:** Iman Roofing's lack of synchronized communication became apparent. Proposing a Point of Contact clause in contracts could remedy misunderstandings, ensuring everyone is on the same page. In summary, while the gutter crew's cleanliness deserves praise, unmet expectations taint my overall experience. Iman Roofing must improve accountability, communication, and scheduling, possibly by introducing an account manager. Unfortunately, I can't wholeheartedly recommend Iman Roofing to friends and family. A fair rating would be 2 out of 5 ?, acknowledging potential but emphasizing the need for a more harmonious operation.

    We'll start off by saying we strive to deliver a great experience for all of our customers and disappointed that you were not satisfied with your service. We are only bringing religion into this response because you did so in your review. As far as cleaning, when you spoke with our receptionist (a woman) you were YELLING AND CURSING at her. This is not acceptable behavior for any man let alone one with so called "Muslim values". Once the workers are done cleaning, we have a separate person come by the following day to make sure everything is pristine. You did not let our process finish before you called in irate and disrespectful. Your yard was left pristine and the final clean up guy took pics. You were outside with the clean up guy, if you felt he missed something, you had an opportunity to let him know. (2) Accountability... While are supplier was delivering the material, a tree branch got cracked. You expressed your concern about the tree branch, yet irate and disrespectful, demanding it be removed. Since I was out of town at the time, I asked you to send me a photo. The next day, you sent the photo and that same day the branch was removed. How are we not taking accountability? (3) Every email your wife sent in to us, got a response. What oversights happened? What prolonged issues happened? (4) Scheduling. When we give dates for roof jobs, we always say weather permitting. Your original date given was the week of November 20th. We've had a snow storm, rain days, and holidays. We did your roof the week of December 4th. 2 weeks after original scheduled date. 4 weeks within the time of receiving your deposit. (5) Inclusive communication. We have responded to every email sent. When you called in while your roof was being completed, you immediately got a call back, in which you were YELLING AND CURSING. With that being said, we still handled every concern you had in a timely matter. We as a company will learn from this experience and tighten up on some areas. We do appreciate your feedback, but feel a 2 star rating is unfair. Also, your wife left us a 2 star rating as well under a different review. Why not do 1 review? Why try to lower our rankings by doing 2 separate reviews for the same job? Iman Roofing

However, I feel compelled to clarify a few points to provide a more accurate representation of our experience. Firstly, the repeated follow-ups from my wife and me were not attempts to be difficult but were born out of frustration due to a lack of timely responses. Transparency in your processes would have spared us unnecessary confusion, such as the need to resend the contract. The issue with the tree branch was resolved only after I escalated the matter to the owner, accompanied by photo evidence. The subsequent discrediting by your clean-up crew exacerbated the situation, contributing to the perceived need for urgency in my communication. Regarding payment, our efforts to confirm receipt were met with delays and unfulfilled promises. The lack of communication on your part, particularly after indicating a specific week for the job, created uncertainty and necessitated additional inquiries on our end. While I understand the impact of weather on scheduling, better communication about potential delays would have been appreciated. The timing and execution of the job were crucial, especially given our prior communication about unavailability. Your team's portrayal of my demeanor during phone calls is subjective, and I maintain that my frustration stemmed from the cumulative effect of these communication lapses. It's disheartening to have our concerns dismissed as mere emotional reactions. Finally, the insinuation that my two-star reviews were an attempt to lower your rankings is unfounded. Each review reflected different aspects of our experience, and we believe in providing a comprehensive evaluation. Constructive criticism is invaluable for improvement, and we hope our feedback contributes to enhancing your company's customer service. In conclusion, our intention is not to tarnish your reputation but to highlight areas for improvement. We appreciate your commitment to learning from this experience and hope future customers benefit from enhanced communication and transparency. I am still awaiting the photos depicting the completed work and the comprehensive invoice, both of which were assured to be sent to me by today, December 11th.
