This company owner is unprofessional attitude towards me and almost broke my clock apon picking it back up by handling it improper after an estate for it. The owner was very short and grumpy attitude at me. She also lost the minute hand for me. I want satisfaction for this poor treatment of me and my clock.

I recall Mr. ********* and his clock. It is a standard, mass produced bracket clock with a movement from the 1970's. It was brought into the shop for repair. The value of the clock in the current condition is roughly $25. The movement is a modern mechanical that is outdated and had not been properly maintained over the years. The customer was provided three estimates and options for his clock. He did not like the information provided and became argumentative on the phone. We try hard to help educate our customers but also provide them with choices so that they may select what fits with their budget and expectations. The customer requested a repair that was not appropriate for this particular movement and stated he would find someone who would do what he wanted. The clock was set aside as a "no repair" and the customer arrived at the shop several days later to retrieve it. The clock was handed to him and he immediately proclaimed "you are lucky this shop is not buying me a new clock." I have no idea what prompted this statement.  He felt the clock was handed to him incorrectly to which I responded I have been handling clocks for over 40 years. The clock at no time was in peril of being "broke" or damaged or mishandled. He was provided all the parts for his clock. We would have no reason to keep the hands or any parts of his clock, they are not noteworthy and we have unlimited access to those materials. He continued to have this odd rant and I simply wished him luck and walked away. I have no idea what this customer feels "entitled" to with regard to his experience. He did not like our estimates. He did not like our education and information on his clock. He has been provided his clock. We are not interested in doing business with him again in the future and would refuse any work from him.
