office mishandled *********** for over a year. Used an FSA account to make a payment they required documentation requested for several months given wrong documentation multiple times. Staff condescending told me they knew what they were doing in the end had to refund money. However this caused my card to be blocked for months only a certain amount would roll over into the next year and I lost almost $500. The girl on the phone giggled about it I was not reimbursed.I asked multiple times if they billed both ins to find out they had not &I had an $1,800 credit. they refuse to give me the refund because my family had had recent dental work so I was supposed to trust them after their multiple Financial mistakes but they couldn't trust me to pay them anything in the end if I owed. Essentially my money was held hostage without interest. I made multiple phone calls spoke to a manager once who seemed very overwhelmed with many excuses about new staff ,being short-staffed etc. Although the manager apologized she never once followed up or interacted with me again.I made numerous attempts to get a hold of her. I had had my teeth cleaned and the girl was so rough on the lower part of my mouth that I haven't been able to eat on that side s but I've been afraid to come to the office because the constant carelessness in this handling of my insurance and funds. The lady who is supposed to do the refund check was very condescending refused to call me even though I requested it multiple times text me upset i.wanted to pick up check as me she mailed them out at the end of the month. I had spoke to multiple people & been told I could pick it up because this was their mistake and it was a significant amount. she just ignored me &mailed the check .I still have not received it. how many people has thisbhappened to that didn't catch it and the office is pocketed the money. These are some of the best dentists I've ever seen butnthis is theft. The office staff is unprofessional

The account in mention was inclusive of 2 insurance companies that at different times were either expired or asked for information from the insured. Our patient is right to be upset as admittedly her accounting has been a nightmare and our lack of TEAM members should not have affected her experience. We always stive to give our patients the best of everything and unfortunately fell short on this occasion. The refund was issued on July 16th and I have been corresponding by e-mail and was surprised to see this complaint.
