friday 17 June 2022. approx 7.00pm tried to place online order at Ashland Ohio location system would not allow use of gift card attempted to phone in order instead- woman who answered refused to take order citing "we are too busy"..was rude and agressive and slammed down phoneBusiness response

the director that overseas this location has reached out regarding the issue and has assured that the issues will be addressed and necessary training undertaken
also offered a GC to hope we will come back again in the future as way of a corporate apology

May 30, 2022 approximate 12:15pm I witnessed a female employee grabbing a customers french toast with her bare hands, sitting it on a plate and handing it to the waitress to deliver to the customer. My guests and I decided to leave after witnessing this unsanitary and unacceptable action. The manager on shift was very rude and dismissive to my guests and I. He never once told the employee she was handling food improperly. I returned to the store moments later to speak with the manager to be sure he was aware of the situation. He told another employee to tell me he was too busy to talk to me and try to call later. I found this unprofessional and total avoidance, he was not busy at all and only walked to his office after he saw me enter the restaurant he was just yelling for me to leave moments ago.Business response

On 2/23/22 at 12:36pm, I placed a breakfast order online from Bob Evans that was to be delivered to my hotel rm. Text notification showed delivery is at 1:20pm Text notifications later showed "*******", a ******** driver, was approaching at 1:30pm, Receipt shows food was picked up at 1:06pm. Order total was $38.56, including tip. Being disabled. I waited with my door open. At 1:34pm, text notifications showed the food was delivered. I received a phone call afterwards from a man, yelling at me through the phone, stating he left my food at the office and he's out of here because he couldn't find my room.I texted him that I was in my room, but he left. No one had driven passed my door during this time. I had to ask someone to go to the office to pick up the food for me, being unable to walk there. The bag was not sealed. The food was cold and shuffled. No one was able to explain why he had my food 16 mins, unsealed, and didn't bring it to the address on the order receipt, which clearly says Motel 6 room *** on the 1st line. I contacted ******** to remove his tip for bad behavior and yelling. ******** contacted Bob Evans to refund my order because it had been opened and not properly delivered and told not to eat it. I didn't eat it. Today, the full $38.56 was deducted from my debit card. I'd like a refund asap for this order. I have receipts showing I had to re-order breakfast from ****** ***** that day.Business response

We have forwarded your comments to the Director of Operations in charge of this location so that we may use this as a learning tool for our staff. We have processed a full refund back to the original payment method.

I understand the need to use complaints as a learning tool, however, Bob Evans received $38.56 from my checking account for food that was tampered with, not sealed, not properly delivered, and discarded as instructed. Also included was a $4 tip to the delivery driver who refused to bring me my food, 16 mins after arriving with it and unnecessarily yelled at me for asking for him to bring my food to my room. ******** told me they have contacted the manager at Bob Evans already but no one has contacted me. Please refund my money for this order.Business response

As stated in our previous response, a full refund was processed back to the original payment method on 2/4/2022. It may take 5-7 business days to see the refund on your end, dependent on how quickly your financial institution processes credits.
