Seemed like a nice guy in conversation, but hid from me the fact he was going to charge me a 4% credit card charge! Wouldve left without the equipment if he wouldve told me that! He told me the price without tax, then charged my card but couldnt give me a receipt, no printer, no office, working out of his Jeep but he would email it to me. When I drive 2 hours home and look at the email I saw the 4% charge & called him, he replied Sorry I forgot to tell you about that but wouldnt credit it back! When I disputed it with my credit card he told them he told me about the charge as he said he would when I told him that I would dispute it with my card. His reply was it would be his word against mine! Thats what he did when my credit card company had contact with him! FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW IVE EVER LEFT! Congratulations I hope youre proud of yourself! Im going to back to my card company & reopen the case!

    The Kuboda Guy, LLC Response

It was explained and is posted that 4% is charged for a credit card convenience fee. This often is standard for many businesses. I also reiterated this when I was very rudely called with a very belligerent attitude that barely aloud me to speak during a conversation where ****************** repeatedly contradicted himself the day following the sale. I wasn't working out of a vehicle but I do often handle my own deliveries and pick *** with ************ new onsite office is currently being finished by a contractor. I explained I could offer an e-mailed receipt or through SMS. There was no complaint by ****************** and a receipt was immediately sent. During the short period of time I could speak in conversation the following day ****************** explained where he comes from convenience fees don't exist and later explained I should have negotiated and offered a better rate. I offered for ****************** to pay in cash or with check and the convenience fee could be waived. I further explained during COVID rates had unfortunately gone up for my business and I had no choice but to raise them. ****************** refused to pay with anything other than a credit card and simply appeared as if he wanted my business to absorb the cost of a customer fee. I explained the fee is what is charged standardly at many businesses for the use of the equipment. ****************** explained he would contest the charge and I told him in response that was his prerogative. The information from both sides was presented and and was found to be in the favor of my business. This complaint seems to be nothing more than retaliation for the result of his complaint. I feel if ****************** was genuinely interested in saving the cost of the convenience fee he could have simply chosen a different form of payment and the convenience fee would have been refunded as I had already offered to him.
