I filed my tax refund with turbo tax the irs send my refund to Santa barber bank that sent it to Covina bank . I never received my refund of $890 that I was supposed to get on 2/14/24 the irs gave me routing and account said it’s in a green dot account that I didn’t authorize I want my refund this is unfair it’s been months

I wouldn't have chose 1 star if I didn't have too!!! I was directed by the IRS to contact Civista Bank due to them taking and creating a check with my child tax refund thats over 2,000. When I first called them on 9/6/2022 I spoke with a young lady I believe her name is Nicole she asked for the account number and routing number that Civista Bank created. She told me someone would be in contact with me within 24-48 hours. I called Civista Bank back today 9/8/2022 I told them I haven't received a phone call regarding my issues and they transferred me over to an automated voice message, which I have called multiple times and it gives me the same exact message "your check will be deposited in my account within 2-3 business day." I called Civista Bank back and they picked up the line then hung up on me. I thought it was just the line so I called back and they continued to pick up the phone and immediately hang up. When someone finally answered I requested to speak to a manager, they asked how they can direct my call and I explained to them I keep getting an automated message and it won't allow me to speak with someone directly. They continued to send me to this automated message. I have started the process to take legal actions.

I wouldn't have chose 1 star if I didn't have too, after I just talked to that lady I talked to from civista bank. She was so hateful and ugly. Talking to me so rude and like I was stupid or something. **** I was only asking questions. It ant my fault u had to get io and go to work this morning. You didn't have to be so rude... one day I call covista bank and they will answer my questions and try to help me and the next day they act like I got the cooties or something and won't tell me anything and act like that lady just did. I hope u get *****... ypu are so hateful and rude.... I could go on and on, but I think I better stop right here cause I sure don't wanna have to drive from Mississippi to Ohio today... just saying...

My refund was deposited to this bank and my full amount was not given to me. I received almost 7000 less than I should have. I do not recommend this bank or anyone affiliated with them. Fraudulent activity going on for sure. Contacted attorney to go further.
