Regarding the brick and mortar selection, our goal is always to provide the closest match possible, as per our contract. However, we acknowledge that in this instance, the result did not meet your expectations. While we rely on trusted third-party suppliers for material matching, we understand this does not excuse the outcome, and we regret that it fell short of your standards.
We also apologize for any damage or mess caused to your property during the project. Our crews are expected to exercise care when working on a client’s home, including protecting surrounding areas and completing thorough clean-up afterward. It is clear that we did not meet those expectations in your case, and for that, we sincerely apologize.
We recognize that there were shortcomings in communication and execution, and we regret that we were unable to fully resolve these concerns to your satisfaction. Our goal is always to stand by our work, and we will be reviewing our internal processes and subcontractor partnerships to ensure better outcomes for future clients.
We would still welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can make this right. If you'd like, we can schedule a follow-up visit to further assess the issues you’ve raised. Your feedback is important to us, and we are committed to learning from this situation.
Thank you again for your review, and we hope to have the chance to improve and serve you better in the future.
Sincerely,
Jim House
President, The Canaan Company
