I’ve been a patient here off and on for some time. I stopped going years ago due to the same reasoning that I’m choosing not to ever go back now. Granted NP Colbert is nice and good, HOWEVER when I feel as if my provider is totally disregarding me and my health that’s an issue and a problem to and for me and I don’t care how good you are. The first issue is that hey hardly ever answer the phone or return calls! Here I am with Covid and I started leaving a message on Sunday in which I’m aware they aren’t open in regards to needing my nebulizer medication. I called on Monday during open office hours several time with no answer! I finally got someone to ask if the MA had checked the voicemail to hear my medication request to be told that she left at 1 or 130p.I also needed to know if per my labs it would be safe to take the Covid meds that I had just been prescribed. So I called the after hours on call provider with no call back! Total dismissal! So I had to go in to the office this morning to deal with a rude MA with an attitude as most of the office staff in the front has! She wanted to cut me off and be short! Totally unprofessional! I asked her to ask the NP if my kidney and liver functions were ok enough to take the meds and she came back stating that “ She stated that it’s safe to take if they have it to you you can take it.” I asked “ Did she even check my lab work that was the question.” She went on to say you can choose to take it at your discretion in which I know that I can! So I told her to print out my labs so that I can see my levels myself! I do not play about my health and I take it very seriously. And I won’t let anyone else play with it. I still haven’t heard anything else in regards to a referral to a specialist at UC that she was putting in for me! Just in consistent and no follow up! Just unprofessional in a whole!
