I have used Joe for two prior jobs. The first was a great experience. Simultaneously hired him to do our entire house while using him for my mother in law's kitchen. Took him weeks and weeks longer than it should to complete the kitchen and was horribly inconvenient. He still isn't done trimming out items in the kitchen 6+ months later. Unfortunately we were already into the process of our house, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and hoped he would come through because he seems like such a great guy with a great mission. Boy was I wrong! He hasn't delivered a single item on time and the majority of the items are built incorrectly. He doesn't understand how to use technology correctly, doesn't pay attention to notes provided, emails, conversations.. anything. Things had toe kicks when they weren't supposed to, drawers were in places they weren't supposed to be, the dog kennel he built had solid cabinet doors, things were the wrong size, etc etc. the list of problems goes on and on. Joe is the ONLY carpenter on staff and doesn't tell you this up front. He is stretched way too thin and is unable to complete the work he says. He doesn't work early or late or on weekends to catch up. Just basically says oh well sorry I'll get to it tomorrow and doesn't. He has lied to us over and over about when he will finish our job and honestly I'm just going to have to hire someone else to do it. We are out tens of thousands of dollars because of Joe!! We were robbed because our move in was delayed, we lost our rate lock because our house was incomplete for appraisal, we were homeless for 3 weeks. The job still isn't complete when the completion date HE promised was 2.5 months ago and Joe truly does not care a bit. I would tell ANYONE to use a REAL cabinetry company. Stay away from this man!
