    Bought a lifetime oil change for my Sonata. My car now just turned ***** miles. ***** time I bring my car in for oil change they give me a long list of expensive repairs they recommend. Just had my oil changed this week. On my way home. I noticed that for the first time the oil light was on my dashboard. I called the dealership and asked if I could come in and have them turn the light off which I thought had just happened during the oil change. After not receiving a callback for three days I Left a message for the dealership and the general manager called me back and apologized for the delay and told me to just come in anytime and they would fix the light. I came in and they told me they didnt have time to look at it, but made an appointment for me the next morning at 10 AM , I came in and after waiting over an hour when I asked what was taking so long, they told me they were doing the diagnostic , which I knew nothing about, and wasnt informed of. They then told me that the diagnostic work up would cost me $175.00. They offered to take the diagnostic fee off if I had the $311.00 repair done. I agreed because I felt totally pressured that if I didnt have it repaired my engine could possibly seize up, ( which is what they told me could happen.). I feel completely uncomfortable and possibly scammed by this dealership. Im stuck getting my oil changes there but I will never recommend them to anyone and certainly will never have them do a repair on my car.

    As we discussed when we spoke on the phone, ********, the service department should have informed you that there was going to be diagnostic time before they started the diagnostic process, and again, I truly apologize for that.  While discussing your lack of confidence in the service department and not wanting to know the recommended servicing on your vehicle, I also agreed not to have any recommendations presented to you when you come in for your lifetime oil changes, but to do the oil changes only with no discussions.  Before we finished our conversation, I informed you that if you didn't want to or didn't feel comfortable doing your services at our dealership, I recommended for you to go to ************* across the street as they will also honor the lifetime oil change, which again, you didn't feel that would make you comfortable either.  I would like to find a way to make you happy and comfortable doing your servicing with us, but, I have run out of ideas to make that happen.  We will be happy to accommodate you in any way we can and appreciate your patronage and business.
