I took my Volvo into MVP Volvo in Sept of 2021 to have repairs made. They told me they offered a warranty on all their work including Head gasket replacement. So I decided to trust them with my car. I was charged approx. $3400 for the complete head gasket replacement & repairs. It was there several weeks, I had to hound them to get a finish date for the first head gasket. Finally picked up my car the first time, and only a couple weeks later it had the same symptoms that lead me to finding a mechanic in the first place. I took my car back to MVP Volvo Spring of 2022 to have another look. He called me with results and left a message telling me it needs another head gasket. I reminded him that he offered a warranty on all his work per his website, But he acted like he would not honor his own warranty; having no other option, I left my car with him a second time because he said he would work something out to redo the head gasket. It was there several weeks with no estimate of completion. I finally tried to go pick it up Since he became so unreliable and did not follow through with time frames he estimated nor did he return my calls. When I arrived it was completely torn apart and undriveable, even un-towable. I've literally called him 49 times between the 1st visit when it was supposedly repaired until today. Every time I call for status on my car for the warranty work he claims to be doing, he tells me 2-3 more weeks, before it will be repaired the second time. he goes back and forth between he will only charge me a nominal fee or charge me full price or honor his own warranty. He even had the audacity to call me after I visited to pick up my car and offer me a job!!! I told him I do not need a job I need my car repaired in excellent working condition. My desired result is my car back in excellent working condition all repairs made at no additional cost to me. His insurance need to compensate me the replacement value of my S60R.
