We had this company come to demo and rebuild our chimney and fireplace. They showed up late the first day (due to multiple truck problems). There was no courtesy call telling us that they would be late. They laid plastic only on the floor wherever they would be walking in our home. They did not cover any furniture nor did they cover any accesses out for the living room where the fireplace was located. They used a piece of old cement board toclose off the opening of the fireplace secured with 4 5gal buckets and a furniture pad with big holes in it. They then placed a shop vac hose between the cement board and the front wall of the fireplace thus leaving a big gap for the soot and debris dust to come cascading out and propelling into the room and the rest of the entire house as they demoed the inside of the chimney. Walls, carpet, furniture, tables, pictures, windows everything was covered with this demo soot and dust. When we asked the worker why he didnt try to contain this mess to just one room, his answer was that no one has ever complained before. When we asked the company why this room was not contained, their answer was its in your contract that you are responsible to cover your things and that they were only libel for 20 feet. This company (owner and workers) do not care 2 cents for the customer or their belongings. We even found debris in the basement due to the worker sweeping it between the cracks rather that picking the debris up and disposing of if properly. The workers were disrespectful and had a very strong aroma of marijuana at various times during the day while on the job. The company did offer to send a clean crew to our house but we declined. It took a cleaning crew(at our expense) 2 days to thoroughly clean our 8 room house. We will have no parts of this company coming to our home again. Run, dont walk away from this company! Dont believe any positive reviews on this company.

I have to disagree with many of your comments. How could it have took a cleaning company 2 days to clean when the job was just finished yesterday (04/13/2022); two days have not even passed yet? Furthermore, the customer opened up the clean-out door in the basement while our workers were still working causing debris to go every where. Before we arrived the first day, you had called and I informed you they were running behind because they had to obtain materials for the job from a storage unit; I said nothing about truck problems. Before our workers started, the customer removed the lentil from the fireplace, which should have not been removed, causing additional work for our company but nothing was charged for this. At one point, the workers took a break to allow things to settle (as they were removing some interior from the chimney) and when they came back in the customer was in that area and said what had been up blocking the opening had fell down, or just maybe it fell because the customer had to see what was going on behind it. Before the worker's started they asked that all doors and windows be kept closed, but that also could not be done as this customer kept opening the door and window. Whether it was opened completely to the outside does not matter, any change in the air will cause a draw. We did offer to clean. This was being done as a courtesy because we do go above and beyond for customer satisfaction; although, as it is clearly stated in the contract that the customer signs, and I quote, "******************** cleaning and repair can be dusty and sooty in nature so it shall be the customer's responsibility to cover and/or relocate any personal belongings or valuables in the house as well as outside the home. This shall include but not limited to furniture, carpets, automobiles and any other belongings that are located within 20 feet of whatever work is being performed." The customer did decline our offer of a courtesy cleaning, so why the complaint. This review has so many untrue statements. This is the first time I heard about marijuana smell, so I am assuming this was added to try to discredit us more.??? If someone came to my house smelling like that, I would call the company immediately or ask them to leave. I think the BBB is a great place to give a review (good or bad), but it is so sad when people like this make statements that are not true. My recommendations to any contractor is to steer clear of these people. Run, don't walk away from them.
