              I emailed Gerhard's Appliances on 10/26/2021, 10/28/2022, and 3/17/2023, requesting that they tell their marketing company to remove my name and address from their mailing list. I never received the courtesy of a response from them. Today, 8/30/2023, I received more advertising mail from them.

              I bought a dishwasher Gerhard's and was charged twice for installation. I pre-paid $159 for "dishwasher installation service" when I bought the new appliance. Then, when they showed up to install the new dishwasher I was told that I needed to pay the delivery guys an extra $110 (they asked for cash!) to wire up the new dishwasher. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. My old dishwasher was already removed and sitting out on the sidewalk. My choice was to pay the $110 or let the guys leave me with a gaping hole in my kitchen and no dishwasher. Reluctantly I paid the extra $110 knowing that the good folks at Gerhard's would make things right eventually. For more than 5 months Gerhard's gave me the run around... The delivery department blamed sales. Sales blamed delivery. A nice woman in accounting tried to help me out, but to no avail. I eventually gave up and ate the $110. I'll never purchase from Gerhard's again.
