As a former resident and client, I have to agree with the first reviewers assessments. Administrators allow preferential treatment of some but not all white males. Only one white female resident reportedly remains at this time. Apparently one female injured gravely during early morning fire drill had to be transferred to a Nursing Home for more care. Managers dont want to hear your complaints: or attempted suggestions on how to run the place. You will be labeled as unhappy. And they will retaliate against you for speaking up and asserting your opinions and rights.I experienced racism and discrimination against me because I am a former resident who is a racial ethnic minority woman. The managers dont care at all about it residents and clients needs being met. It is simply not a priority for them. While I was living on the Rochester ******************** Home, we had to move downstairs when the **** Program was shut down by the Commonwealth of ************!Another warning sign is that a series of formal complaints I filed took years later to finally be investigated by the ********** of ****** Services (DHS). You never are informed of any actions taken whatsoever. Certainly DHS employees are more interested in supporting the needs of the Administrative staff over the residents!They just look the other way almost all the time. I observed this in two other ************* Homes in which I previously resided in Beaver County. And I am very relieved and grateful to no longer be part of this mental health system!!!
