      This company is a joke!!! I had used Credit Genie aka Creditly Corp. Copyright 2024 I used them before and I paid back the amount I took. Then tried to log in, mind you I couldn't remember what email I used because I have 2 different emails tried to get signed up then they told me that my bank account was already associated with a different email. SO.... I tried to log in with my other email and I never received a code because my phone number was different and needed to be change. I emailed them to reinstate my account with the proper email and let them know my phone number has been changed. Four emails later I get this...."The new number provided seems to have been used with another account created by you. Please note there is a 1 account per user limit. We follow a set of legal and IT security standards. These standards include storing the customer's bank account to ensure it cannot be used in our systems again. If a second account is created and the same bank account is connected, after applying for an advance under both accounts that bank account remains permanently locked and cannot be used again. This is in order to prevent any fraudulent intent and cannot be overrode. If someone would like to use our services again, they can connect with a different checking account.Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.Sincerely,The Credit Genie Team"Mind you... I could and did not get an advance with the other email because the system told me that my bank account was tied to another account, so i couldn't move forward with anything. But yet they told me from the first email they reinstated my account and I was having an issue with my "phone number" *** bank account number. Best of all they took their monthly fee from my bank account but now are telling me my back account has been permanently locked. Make sense to you because is sure doesn't me and they were absolutely no help. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY.... EVER!!!!!!

      As this person explained, they opened a new Credit Genie account with a different email address with their updated/accurate mobile number because they could not remember their original account credentials. Having multiple accounts is not permitted per our account terms and conditions, and unfortunately, we cannot reassign a phone number to another account due to our phone validation process and other system limitations. Compounding the issue is that once our bank account validation checks confirm a bank account is attached to another account, that bank account is prohibited permanently. If this person wants to use Credit Genie services in the future, they can contact us to update their Credit Genie account (the one with the correct phone number), and an email address that is not the email address presented in the BBB review. Additionally, they would need to provide us with a new bank account that has enough revenue history required to qualify them for a cash advance. We apologize for any inconvenience and will use this feedback to help us improve our customer experience.

      I am having the same exact problem at Caprina and many others. I do not use this service and they are charging me monthly and will not remove my account.

      I sent a email over 4 times explaining I couldn't get in the account because I forget my password. I hit forgot password on the app and I was suppose to receive a code for password reset to my phone which I never received. So I sent another email stating I wanted to cancel the account I received a email immediately telling me how to cancel the monthly fee first if I wanted to keep the app. Which I told them in the email the reason I wanted to cancel the account is because I couldn't get in the app because I never received a password reset. Noone never responded to the email about my password reset but they did respond when I ask to cancel the app. I have all the email saved.

      Per our auto response, our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM EST except for bank holidays. We typically respond to emails within 3 business days. However, due to large volumes particularly after a weekend or holiday it may take longer. When users send multiple emails it may lead to confusion and delays in responses as emails are ordered by the most recent message in a single email thread. It looks like the emails were sent on 05/18/2023 and 05/19/2023. We will answer them in the order they are received.

      Credit Genie takes the security of our customers very seriously. We have stringent KYC processes in place to prevent unauthorized account access including two factor authentication using the phone number provided by the customer as well as bank verification. The customer's account was promptly disabled once he reached out to our support team.

      Horrible app. They claim you can get an advance take your info and you never recieve it. But won’t delete your account until you payback the advance they supposedly sent rediculous. So once I pay back whatever advance they claim I sent I will be contacting again to get my information deleted will not use again.

      We received an email on 03/17/2023 and advised that per the app the ETA is displayed at checkout. This customer's bank has an ongoing issue with Plaid. Plaid pulls routing and account numbers that do not match a customer's actual account number. This sometimes causes an advance to be rejected by the bank. It does not happen to every customer and it does not happen every time. We have been working with their bank since December of 2021 and have pulled Plaid into the issue. The advance was rejected and repayment was already canceled which the customer can see if they log into their account.
