When I asked to borrow a pen so I could copy tel nbrs from my phone for my relative who is a Monarch Meadows resident, I was told residents are not permitted to make calls because there aren’t enough phones. I said he had the right to make calls! I also said **** (who has his Financial Power of Atty) had his iPhone and had taken it before he fell in his remote mt cabin resulting in his being on his cabin floor for 2 days in 2023 - 2 days during which I’d tried to call him. (Initially **** denied having it, even after I told her I’d tracked it stopping at a Smalley home at 2 am one weekend. Have screenshot.) ***’s wife (both are owners/managers) got ***, and *** informed me that they would not allow anything bad to be said about ****, that he had seen her be nothing but nice to my relative, and I had to leave. He said not to return until he’d talked to his attorney. When I returned home, **** called & told me the real reason I couldn’t visit was my relative didn’t want me there. (But earlier when they’d wheeled him away saying it was time for a restroom break, he’d said he’d be right back.) **** is not related; her mother had worked for my relative in the ‘70’s and I’d made the mistake of answering questions her brother had asked about my relative’s net worth in 2022. About a month ago, when dropped card off for him to sign for his friend’s 90th bday, a staff member allowed me to take it to him. My relative said I could visit. I told him he had the right to refuse visitors & if still angry with me for not letting him drive, I’d leave. He said I could stay. Then staff came over & told me mgmt didn’t want me in the building so I had to go. As I was leaving I was told **** was on the phone & wanted to talk to me. I refused.
