      For those that are Customers with ********************** and are looking to apply for a mortgage please be aware of what occurs. I was a customer for many years of NW, accounts and a Line of Credit. This past Sept, since the Rates came down on a traditional mortgage I applied and was closing my line of credit. During all, communication was great, ensuring that all was received. On the date of closing which was 10/3 at my ***************** we completed all the paperwork and signed the documents. At that time, I would have until 10/8 to back out of the loan if I chose (There would be no reason to do so but at least i had the option if needed ) I received the congratulations letter and all and then looking to set up payments in my APP for Northwest as the first payment would be due 12/1/24. On 10/17 I received a letter, NW Letterhead, stating my Mortgage has been sold to ********* and to contact them with questions. First I contacted ** ( the advisor I was working with sent me to customer service which they were nothing but rude not helpful stating that they could not help me since the mortgage is with Nurez and call them. ) I contacted my attorney to review what had occurred; no notice, no discussion prior to, wonderful treatment for your Customers. No time for paperwork to get filed, clearly ** does not pride themselves on customers service, my information was Sold to a ************ with a less than reputable reputation. I did the research on Nurez, obviously NW was not concerned about integrity. I contacted my local branch who filed a complaint on my behalf and a representative contacted me, listened and said all complaints are reviewed. I would hope a supervisor would be contacting me, he stated that would not occur. I closed my NW checking account immediately. 1 star is selected because i am forced to. I could have found my own *********** who was not reputable myself. I would have backed out of this mortgage but conveniently informed after the timeframe

      Horrible bank!!! They s**** with your bank account on purpose to prevent you from using it. Do not trust this bank. Can you please bank somewhere else?

      I would never recommend this bank to anyone! My husband and I have multiple personal and business accounts with them and have never once paid anything even one day late. We also pay our entire balance of our Northwest Credit Card every month so we have never paid one dime in interest. Back in January of 2024, there was an issue with the online banking system. Our payment to our Northwest Credit card did not go through. My husband found this out by accident about 2 weeks later after logging in to pay another bill. He immediately called the bank to try to get this rectified and was told to submit it again while she was on the phone with him. She said that it did not go through and to call back on Monday to try again. After many calls and attempts to fix the issue, the bank mailed a payment through the US post office. By this time the payment was late. Being that it was a Northwest Credit card and we are a Northwest Bank customer, we assumed that they would take care of any further issues. When we got our credit card bill, we were charged a late fee. My husband called to explain what happened and that all of this should be in their notes. He was told that there were no notes in the system and he could not remove the late fee. This went on for months of getting charged recurrent late fees and interest. Everytime it ends with "I will have to reach out to the manager and get back to you". We never get a call back. When someone does call back, we have to retell the story all over again and nothing gets solved. We had cancelled this credit card months ago and the only charges on the care are these ridiculous late fees and interest charges. Today I got a letter in the mail saying they have been trying to reach us and they have recieved no communication from us. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! We have communicated with Northwest probably 3 times a month since January!!! This is has become harrasment at this point!!!

      Internet banking is always having problems. Limiting access to my account information. Logos are deceptively placed on the debit card representing ATMs that charge a fee while the ATM that is free is not on the card. Anyone else find that questionable? Havent gotten my statement, customer service says you should check the post office. I guess it doesnt concern them that my info is lost somewhere between their office and my door. Didnt even ask to file a complaint on my behalf. Very little SERVICE @ NorthWest Customer Service. They dont instill much confidence.

      Terrible bank. I have a auto loan with them that now for the second time in three years my payment (mailed to a PO Box) hasn't been received. My credit is very good, I make decent money to afford the monthly payment and it really upset me when I received a text message stating that my loan payment was never received and is past due. I then called Northwest Bank. They value my relationship and my payment history so much that after I went through a RIDICOULS proof of my identity (to make a payment mind you) that they charged me both a late fee and a processing fee for a payment I mailed to them with a personal check that was never received on their end. Shame on you Northwest Bank. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BANK with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      The app that tracks transactions is a joke so if you accidentally over-draft which you can, you are hit with large fees and oddly enough its not your last transaction that sends you over which makes you think it is purposely set up to make it as likely as possible to overdraft making larger sum transactions less likely to process until several days later and if you call regarding this you are treated like an irresponsible moron, the amount of money they have made off of me is ridiculous. They know exactly what they are doing and why.

      This bank is horrible. We have our home loan through them and the process took so long it was unbelievable. Constant s**** *** because they are moving the headquarters from ****** ** to *********** each place blaming the other for documents that should have been completed. Then they blamed our lawyer we used for closing for holding up the deal after they ran out of inside people to blame. He will no longer close loans that have anything to do with Northwest. Now I am trying to connect another checking account I have to my ********************** acct. and they can't even get that right. They say the two small deposits they put into my other acct. to verify are incorrect when I have the exact numbers in my other checking account. This bank is a mess they have no idea what they're doing. If I could go back in time and take my mortgage somewhere else I would.

      Not thrilled with their website for sure! I made a partial payment on my loan well before due date. Got the confirmation email and nothing was ever debited from my bank account or credited to my loan. Tried the online chat and kept getting booted out after 2 minutes of no one responding! The failed payment has happened on two separate occasions!

      This bank makes it IMPOSSIBLE to pay off your loans. They dont allow you to make one time payments unless you open a checking account with them. When you schedule a future payment you are limited to $1500/day for a total of $3000 in a month. If you want to make a larger payment you have to mail by check and specify you want it to go to your principal amount. They are THIEFS. The initial process of even setting up payment takes two days and they have fees for EVERYTHING. Worst bank Ive ever had a loan through.

      Everyone needs retraining!!!I called Buffalo Rd addresses to get some advice on cashing a written payroll check. I asked the African American female if it would be better going to atm, drive through. She states my husband should cash it at the bank where the business he works at banks. I then called corporate and asked a young white female if I cashed a written payroll check in atm how much will I get back and she replied $225, after she is putting me on hold to get this so called information. The young white supervisor that got on the phone with me asked if the check was in my name? I said no. My husbands. But we have a joint account. What are you getting at? Wait I call back later after the monitor and recorded conversation that NW heard and figured that they do cash payroll checks! It took 4 people to find that out.
