I brought my vehicle to get a diagnostic because the vehicle had been lagging on the highway. Dropped it off, after a few days, I hadn't heard back from anyone. I called many times and finally reached someone. I was told my car was undriveable and it would take $10,000 to fix it (for a new motor). Side note: ((I had previously taken the car for a diagnostic somewhere else and was told the throttle body needed to be repaired. Nothing else!)). When I drove my car to *********, it was driving just fine! No problems driving under 50 mph. The engine purred, nothing else wrong with it. When I picked up my car, it wouldn't start and had to be jumped. But why? I had a new battery installed less than a year ago. The car started and it sounded like I was starting a lawn mower, there were big wafts of smoke coming out the exhaust, and the whole car was shaking and rattling and made loud clacking noises. What did you do to my vehicle?!! "***" told me that's how I brought the vehicle to them. Lies! No I didn't!! I can't believe he would lie so easily like that. It's so frustrating! Where are the trusted mechanics? I feel like I was being taken advantage of because I'm a woman and they think I don't know my car or the costs of repairs, plus I'm a woman of color (non-white). Just disappointing. Obviously, I won't go back there. Be alert if you go here.
