We took our car to Kerri because we started to have issues with the car not always starting. That was on January 3rd, 2023. First we were told he couldn't get parts for our car. It took till June of 2023 for him to get parts, however, we are not aware of which parts he needed. Next, in July, we were told that the valves in the head had to be sent to Sioux Falls to be reground. Near the middle of July he said the head were in the mail and he should have them by Friday and could work on the car on Monday. He said it would take about two weeks for him to do that. We still did not hear from him so contacted him again in August and he said he was working on other cars that he had in his shop, one for four years. Next, he said the car should be done before he goes on his European vacation for a month in September. However, it was not done. Next deadline, was around October 16th, but he said his wifes horse needed surgery so another delay. Next deadline he told us was " I'll have it done before the snow flies. Well, the snow flew and then his excuse was that he had to clear snow away. When we asked to open the hood of the car so we could see his progress, he would not let us with the excuse that he didn't want any dust to get inside. That was very suspicious to us as the car was inside his shop. Next deadline was April 15th. He finally called us on May 30th and said the car is done and if we want to pick it up that day we could, otherwise he was going out of town for 4 or 5 days. We picked it up around 4:30 and paid him with a check. He cashed the check the same day. Two days later, the check engine light came on, the cruise light blinked off and on, we had a antifreeze leak and the air did not work. I would not consider him to be a professional nor a perfectionist. He had our car for about 15 months, very unacceptable! I would warn everyone to stay far away from this place as he does not keep his word, his work is unacceptable and he will hold your car hostage!!
