It started great as it was my first car. They said they had everything done and made, including things fixed. It broke down not even the first six months and had to wait two months, while paying for car payments on a car that I wasn't driving. When I got the car back, the engine was horrible. Still had problems with the car. Since February or March, I've been dealing with seizures, nearly lost my job and harassed me for payments and then wanted everyone else (who didn't sign the lease) to pay. Once the car was repossessed, they wanted me to pay the remaining balance that I owed on top of a thousand dollars to get the car back in my possession. My friend is currently dealing with the same things as I did with this dealership. She got into an accident in Iowa, the car is totaled. The cop gave an estimate but they want the car up there for an estimate. They are refusing to deal with the towing company as the towing company is siding with my friend. This company is refusing to file the claim to pay off the loan because they will not take an estimate from the cops and will not agree with the towing company or my friend. Her account manager told her that she can stop paying for the car as long as the claim hasn't been filed. Wheel City Auto is refusing to allow her to talk to her account manager and are expecting payments. They are also harassing her.

Mr Craft purchased his car from Wheel City, and we arranged the financing. It appears that payments weren't made and his vehicle was repossessed. This is something that can happen if the payments aren't made according to the contract, regardless of who the selling car dealership is, or the finance company. We suggest Matthew follows up with his finance company. In regards to Mr Crafts friend, we also suggest that she calls her finance company and her insurance carrier. Thank you.Review from Josie L.

Wheel City used to be a good business, until the last couple years. I had previously purchased two cars from them and it worked out great. Then move onto purchasing my husband a **** F150 in 2016, the engine blew in 6 months.. they let us trade it in for a different vehicle that they had and we got a **** Fusion, and sure enough after a year or so the engine blew, transmission, its needed almost every repair you can list. Recently they offered to buy the vehicle back so we took it in to get an estimate, they gave us one and we came back the next day and decided not to go through with the sale because it wasn't in our budget to try and pay it off and purchase a new vehicle from somewhere else. That was in October, so come December we receive a phone call saying we haven't been making payments, which is odd because it is supposed to be auto payments on pay days. They claim we never brought the vehicle in to be sold and stopped payments. COMPLETE LIE. We agreed to not sell the vehicle and the knew we were not bringing it back and we were keeping it. So now they say we are behind on payments and owe them money to make up the difference. If you're reading this, stay far far away from them. They are frauds and scam artists who purchase used cars with problems and sell them as if there aren't any. Never again will I refer them or give them my business. I can not wait to be done with them.Review from Kelly H

I was in the hospital for many months with covid placed on a ventilator also a trac my daughter called wanted to make payments on the vehicle with my debit card they said they couldn't do that which I understood....they virtually made it very hard to catch the loan up...I asked if I caught the loan up can I do the repo fees like 8 days later the guy I spoke to said no all of it...I had no choice but to let my car go back since than I purchased from next 2 new...I will buy all my vehicle there from now on i
