i have known Vinnie over 30 years. My husband (who passed away a few years ago) worked on cars with him and he was best man at my wedding. I considered him family, I sent him three cars to check and repair so I could sell them. This was before covid. Covid came and there were no workers, then it was car shows, then vacations and not one call from Vinnie about my cars. I called him numerous times and had to drive to his shop many times to check my cars. Everytime I came nothing was done. I gave him money and could not get receipts. He cashed the checks and destroyed my cars, a 1995 Saleen Mustand, #28, a 1982 Riviera and a 1998 Nova which I asked Vinnie if he could that car. There was a dent in the Saleen when I went to bring it home. He promised to fix it since it happened in his shop. That never happened. I had the car towed home and it had a dead battery. My son changed the battery and drove the car very slowly to his house as he said something did not seem right with the car. Two days later he took the car out and just as he got off his street the car caught fire. The fire department was called immediately. When I showed Vinnie the fire report he said, luckily they put the fire out with the right stuff or you would have a mess on your hands. Then he tried to buy the Riviera from me for a low price.. I refused so without my knowledge he put the Riviera up for sale and left it in the summer heat to melt the seats, the vinyl roof, the heat cracked the dashboard and he destroyed the two front seats, they do not move. He pulled off the front emblem of the car and tried to keep a special license plate my husband had made for the car. I paid Vinnie $1,000.00 just to start the Nova. He cashed the check and did nothing. Unfortunately, I trusted him to the point I never looked up the complaintsIt for Muscle Cars Of Texas. It seems many people were scammed like me. I filed a police report. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE if you value your money and vehicles. Actuall no stars.
