I participated in a panel of surveys through a branch of Decision Analyst called American Consumer Opinion. After signing up I took surveys on a variety of topics that ranged from well written and thought through to poorly conceived and redundant. The latter was somewhat of a guessing game to try and figure out the intent behind the questions and answer honestly. Some written answers were asked for, and the same logic applied as explained above.After a few weeks where things went surprisingly well, the true intent of the company came out. I asked to cash out and have the earnings sent to my paypal account, which I had done successfully before. This time after wasting time otherwise spent well, I researched and learned that there was a window of a few weeks in which I would receive the payment to paypal.As this was in part an experiment to see how honest the system was, I checked back for a week until my credential no longer worked to login in.I messaged customer service and was initially informed that I had no active account on their system and was given a link to their terms and conditions. I messaged back with screen shots that I was in their system and was waiting to be paid.Their response was again to refer to their terms and conditions and said that upon further research, I had violated the terms and would not be receiving payment for a very vague reason. This was after the original surveys had been accepted and supposedly cashed out. To put this into perspective, I have just used another research site with better surveys and cashed out immediately. Don't waste your time here, they will use your surveys and skip paying you while saying it was your fault and hiding behind legal nonsense.
