July of 2021 New Braunfels Auction Company arranged a sale of the belongings of my home at *************************************** New Braunfels, **. The reference to NBAC was provided by my realtor who lived down the street. According to the owner ********************* I was supposed to mark any items NOT to be sold. His crew was to come into the house, organize and document the items left to be sold, and the money from the sale was to be given to me and he did that. Any items left and not sold were to be taken to his storage at the business address on Highway 46 and sold with other items, and the proceeds less his pre-arranged percentage for his work would be sent to me at the phone number and address given to his business office. I was assured his crew would clean up the mess in the house after all the objects were removed and categorized. As I was out of town, my daughter *********************************** agreed to oversee these arrangements. She was furious about the extra work and lack of credibility of *********************. He had assured us by giving his word to leave a "CLEAN House" and there would be no need to pay someone to come behind to clean knowing the house was to be sold. No one counted on the time and effort to clean the mess. (she is a busy housewife with three children she home schools) When the crew left, the house was a wreck.. Cleaners were hired to clean the mess left by NB Auction Company. The fee was paid by my daughter and I reimbursed her. This is December 21, 2023. Not a word about my items nor sales money. I was informed without my permission the entire oak living room set of couch, love seat, coffee table, two end tables were given to a poor family who had suffered something. He thought I seemed like a good guy and wouldn't mind. I was told this year, no auction in 2021 because of COVID and employees had suffered. A second call I was told the warehouse owner needed NBAC to move out. His problem was another excuse not obtain sales money.
