Purchased a vehicle from them on 11/9/2023 that was returned on 11/21/2023. They let me know they would be canceling the contract due to "losing money" on my trade in after they have already signed the contract and been funded by ************ This caused my pre-qualification to no longer be valid and I was left without a vehicle again. They paid of ********** capital on on Dec 4th and I thought I was good to go.Fast forward over a month later, December 27th, 2023, I received a ZipCash bill in my name for the vehicle I returned to them on November 21st! They have been driving this car in my name through tolls and haven't unregistered it to me! This is completely unacceptable as I am being held responsible for a car that I returned to them over a month ago. I cannot believe that they did not unregister this car to me. They were very quick to say they wanted to cancel the contract but didn't take the necessary steps to alleviate me of any financial responsibility to the vehicle.I spoke with NTTA and the *** and they said it is up to the dealership to remove me as the owner. At this point I will be reporting this to the BBB because if anything happens to this car while they are joy riding, I am responsible. I do not have this vehicle and need to be removed as the owner.

I have sent credit inquiry letters from lexington law asking that them to remove negative inquiry from my consumer report and all credit bureaus and reporting agencies also I'm asking for the $4000.00 Down payment refunded for 2014 *** Grey 335I for retaliation for me having a DMV Investigator investigate the company and I feel like they are not responding to that for that reason and I received a rude call from ****** in the **************** asking why did I contact you the BBB being very demanding and they have the conversation recorded Aug 17th 2023 and she call back 30 mins later being disrespectful and loud. I'm also asking for additional $1000 for two blank trips to Georgia to tax office in February 14th weekend June 17th and also for driving around with a paper plate for 8 months emotional stress and risking getting pull over The car is in my dads name ************************* which he bought me the car as a gift on November 26th 2022

On November 25th 2022 I purchased a 2014 *** 335I from this dealership my dad got the car for me as a gift ************************* so it's in his name Tradeline Motors. After 90 days my tags were expired and for 4 months straight salesman Fito kept printing me new paper plates. They kept saying since his License was for Georgia I would have to get the tags from there which I drove down there twice on 2 blank trips. so I ended up file a complaint with The Texas DMV and *********************** took my case and did an investigation and Found out that there were numerous laws broken like on top of it taking 7 months to get the License plates filed. Even when I spoke with ******* in the ****** department up there very rude unprofessional loud smart mouth asked me why I filed a complaint with you. not to mention the problems I had with the car and quotes of how much it would be to fix was outrageous. So for my pain and suffering I asked for the down payment of $2000 to be refunded in a Check Sent in the mail to the address *************************************************************************** on top of $800 for driving to Georgia twice on blank trips for gas and hotels. there and back. I think that would be reasonable when I had to get rid of the car due to major engine problems.

This is in regards to a consumer credit transaction on December 28th 2022 with your company Tradeline Motor Cars. I entered into a consumer credit transaction for a car for personal needs and I did a pre-approval through *********** for the 2021 ******** **** CLA-250 car at the dealership. The dealership then pulled my consumer report in which I have more than 1 hard inquiry from that and your dealership was only supposed to pull *********** Auto however I ended up getting multiple hard pulls from my TransUnion consumer report and your dealership also told me that *********** was requiring a down payment in order for me to get the extension of credit however I submitted a CFPB Complaint to *********** because down payments are illegal Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code **** No advertisement to aid, promote, or assist directly or indirectly any extension of consumer credit *** state (1)that a specific periodic consumer credit amount or installment amount can be arranged, unless the creditor usually and customarily arranges credit payments or installments for that period and in that amount.(2)that a specified downpayment is required in connection with any extension of consumer credit, unless the creditor usually and customarily arranges downpayments in that amount.*********** responded saying that your company is the one that is requiring the down payment. I am simply asking your company to let me get the car that I have already applied for and got a hard pull on my consumer report and I am simply trying to do business with your company I need the car for personal, family and household purposes. Downpayments are illegal and *********** is also saying that they are not the ones that are requesting the down payment as you can see in the attached letter from the CFPB.The salesman I was working with also told me I would not get more that 1 hard pull however my consumer report was pulled multiple times and the only one should have been ***********

The Customer's complaint is unfounded per their own evidence loaded to support the claim. Per the *********** letter provided, "Please be advised, down payments are not required by COAF...". It does not say down payments are not permitted in the structuring of a finance deal. Further 15 U.S. Code **** is not relevant to this fact pattern. Tradeline Motorcars does not advertise specific credit terms or down payment levels to the general public.

This dealership has yet to complete a sale we made over a month ago. We traded a car that was more valuable then the car we bought due gas prices and inflation. However, The credit union has yet to receive a check or the white slip registration. This type of transaction is done in a matter of hours or a day and they are clearly stringing the deal along before cutting a check to the bank for our car we trade until they sell it. They do not have the title for it yet list it for sale on their website. Technically the car is in our name still so the bank is charging us for two cars. The one we bought and the one we traded. I went to the business over a week ago to find out what was going on. I was poorly mistreated and I was upset yes, but I was not disrespectful l. Yes I had a tone of frustration I am a customer who came in with our own financing to buy a car and the dealership is taken advantage of that and not completing the sale purposefully so they can sell my car before cutting a check to the credit union. The credit union is clearl only waiting for a check to be cut so they can release the title to the dealer but instead I was given the run around and when asked to speak to the owner or set up a meeting I was threatened by the GM to have the police called on me. Now, in 2022 as a black woman (in the business with my newborn) I was no threat, I had done nothing illegal but because I call them out for their wrong doing and poor business practices and demanding they just complete the process so my husband and I aren't charged again for two vehicles, he gets mad and tells me he'll call the police, that this is a private business. Knowing that in todays society being a black person at a business to have the police come....he was putting my life in danger! I had ever valid fear of them coming to be hostile toward me and to shoot first and ask question later. This was just disgusting. We can't afford two car notes for only one vehicle in our possession. Please help us!

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/26) */ Customer used their own financing bank to purchase the vehicle. Tradeline submitted the payoff of the traded unit in a timely manner by overnight check. Tradeline waited on Customer's bank to execute the payoff in order to fund the new deal. As a courtesy Tradeline paid one month of car payment for the customer for the delayed processing time, which was the fault of the Customer's bank. Customer at many times during the discussion incited race and/or racism to intentionally inflame the situation despite the dealership going above and beyond to help her navigate the situation with her own bank. This complaint is baseless and misrepresents the actual situation. The dealership will not be cancelling the deal. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/07/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is not accurate whatsoever the issue was not the banks fault the issue was the dealerships fault due to the fact they would not mail the check which was all the bank was waiting for. They still have yet to provide tracking information regarding the "mailed check" I was threatened to be kicked off the property and the police called when I asked to speak to the owner or cancel the deal. I had done nothing illegal nor was I being disrespectful they may have not have like my tone but I was well within my rights as a customer whom they had failed to be frustrated. In todays world, as a white man in America in a position such as his when you are quick to call the police, when act as if that is your first and only option when the person has done nothing illegal, yes if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....I am still in a chair and strolling my baby in her car seat asking for answers and just wanting them to complete the sale or cancel it all together, that isn't being hostile or even harsh! I was not standing yelling or using profanity nor did I do anything that would warrant the need for the police. what they seem to not understand is when you threaten to call the police in this day and age you are putting that person's life in unnecessary danger. Only then when I explain this and again I am well within my rights as a customer to ask the questions I was asking is when the manager proceeded to write a check Which I feel they should have done from the beginning due to their egregious error in the process. However, we are still going in a circle and nothing has been resolved and we are about to be charged yet again for our trade in they have!

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/16) */ Customer purchased a car from the dealership in 2018. Based on information obtained from the salesman, the warranty company denied the claim due to potential damage to the vehicle after purchase. The customer arrived at the dealership recently demanding that the company sell him another car after leaving several negative reviews about the company and its employees in a public forum online. The manager of the store informed him that we would not sell him a new car due to his bad experience.
