    I purchased firewood on short notice and understand the turn around wouldn't be as quick as the website. Order was placed 12 January and the website indicated a 2-7 business day turnaround on delivery. After 10 days I emailed the company, I still hadn't received an email indicating the status or when I would receive the order. Three days later (25 Jan) I finally received the email stating they were still behind but they would get to me. Three more days passed (28 Jan), still no firewood, I attempted to send an email stating if they could just cancel the order that might be best. I received a text message from ****** (30 Jan) asking if they could drop off my order of firewood, 18 days after I made the purchase. I responded that I had sent an email stating I would rather cancel the order at this point. ****** responded, "No sir. ************* we don't do refunds if we can get your order done in the specified time." I countered with it not being delivered in the 2-7 business days there should be a refund possible. ****** proceeded to explain to me that the fine print of the websites says in the middle of winter sometimes it takes a little over 2-7 business days. He proceeded to explain bad weather days do not count. I understand they work hard (as he stated in a series of messages that followed). I believe they do work hard and I also think they did not fulfill their end of the deal with the time table. I mentioned I would get in contact with some legal representation to look over the contract. He proceeded to belittle me and said he would just leave it in my driveway and take a picture for my legal team. He said he thinks it's funny that I must be hurting for money that bad to ask for a refund. Legal action would cost more than the order (which it would).****** apologized and said he'd give me a refund. He said they don't like doing business this way and he apologized for losing his cool. Since 30 Jan - no refund/correspondence. It's 8 April.
