I Absolutely do not recommend this company or the solar powered gate they sell. Installed my fence and automatic gate in 2018. I had problems from the start. They gave me no explanation about how the gate works or maintenance. I was told " we have been installing them for years and never have any problems with them. Should last for years". Once you pay them they do not stand behind anything even if it's under warranty. I had to have them come over to ,many times to fix the gate ( they charge ****** now ****** to show up). Michael, the owner replaced the Battery and the control board which burned out a few months ago for about ******. I have called him back out 4 times because it is not working. Every time he tells me he doesn't know what's wrong, doesn't know what to do. I finally called ***************** repair and they tested the control panel by plugging the opener into a new board and it worked perfectly ( Michael could have done this when he came and charged me ****** but did not) So, the new board Michael installed just a couple on months ago, for over ******, was bad. I called Northlake but they refuse to come and replace it even though it is under warranty and has never worked properly. The woman who answers the phone at Northlake fence is a horrible, rude person and has hung up on me several times. They will not admit any wrong doing even when it is very obvious. They do not do the right thing!! This is not a good company to do business with please look elsewhere!!
** I wanted to do a negative review from the beginning but could not because I thought I needed them to handle gate problems. It's clear now that they don't how to fix the gates and don't stand behind them even under warranty so I don't need them for anything. Hope this helps someone trying to decide on a fence company.

Northlake met with this client on 12/14/2022 in which we serviced the gate operator. When we completed the service the gate was properly working. We received a call during Christmas holidays in which our office was closed, at that time the client contacted another company, we do not know what service they provided, or If they damaged the new circuit board. Again the gate was working properly and we received payment for services rendered. There is an emergency release button on all of our units and it would have been best if this customer would have waited for us to come back out and tech any issues.
