On 7/16/24 Danny, owner came to my place to clean a dryer vent. Prior to making an appointment, I made sure with him 3 times that there would no additional cost. Each time he assured me it's $79. They were scheduled to come on 7/5/24 but did not show up. When I called him, I found out they got my phone number wrong and could not reach me. He offered me10% discount. On 16th, after vacuuming the vent for a while, he asked me how old our house was. I told him it was built in 2004 and I am the 3rd owner. He said that the dryer vent had never been cleaned and that he would have to climb up to the roof to clean up the vent. For this job he added $750!!. There was no other choice. After the job was done, I checked another Vent cleaning company. They said the basic is $120 and extra work like cleaning vent on the roof is $135. They can do the same job with $255, more than $600 less than this company did. Danny assured me of no extra cost and did not explain additional cost. If he did I would have shopped around and would not have used this company. He did not explain additional cost on purpose and had planned to add extra cost anyway at the job site regardless. In order to justify additional cost, he showed me several past invoices of the customers who paid more than $1000.It is obvious that he had prepared to add cost anyway. It is a very dishonest, deceptive way of doing business. He even try to sell a chemical spry service with $199. I declined. In the end he pressured me to choose 5 for rating, which I did reluctantly and regret that now. They do NOT have a decent business ethics. All they want is to rip off customers in order to earn money. I cannot and won't recommend anyone to use this company. This kind of business ethics is NOT acceptable. If there is Zero rating I would choose that.
