      Cancel whole life policies 11/10/21 and declined to have cash value applied to future billing. Advise would receive 2 separate checks however only receive 1 check 11/19/21. Called 12/ 01/21 to inquire on 2 refund check and was told it was never canceled possibly computer time out and would have to process request that day and was given a different amount of refund. Received 12/10/21 in wrong name and different amount from original quote. Was told to callback 1/04/22 due 30 day wait before stop payment would apply to check I received and was notifying supervisor of problem due to ownership of policy name was changed but further review of notes was changed back and not sure why and I would need to callback 01/04/22 to request replacement check in correct name but amount of refund would change again.

Our records show that policy 007EXXXXX, which insured ****** ******, was surrendered on December 3, 2021. On December 16, 2021, due to the incorrect name, the stop pay was placed on check number XXXXXXX. Check number XXXXXXX for $234.51, was issued and mailed on December 17, 2021. For policy 007EXXXXXX, which insured ** ****** ******, the surrender check issued on November 10, 2021, in the amount of $217.50. Please contact me directly if I can be of any further assistance in this matter or if you have not received these checks.       I started a union job and was contacted by AIL. I finally signed up with them. After a month the calls would not stop. Representative after Representative calling and harassing me. I contacted my rep and he apologized, but it did not stop. The last 2 months money has been taken from my account that I DIDNOT authorize. I had no idea what was happening. In November my rep gave me an explanation but I still recieved no paperwork. On Dec 6 more money not authorized was taken and Dec 7 even more. These amounts almost double what I originally signed for. I have canceled with them and have mot received any info on why they keep taking money that I did not authorize. Highly upset that they treat union workers this way. They have poor communication and I am considering filing charges if this is not taken care of immediately.

Our records indicate that an application for insurance was received in our office which requested life and accident coverage for Mr. *******. After underwriting review it became necessary to assign an extra classification rating to the life coverage and a notification was sent to the independently contracted agent regarding this matter. Our office received confirmation that Mr. ******* had spoken with a representative from the independently owned office which services his area and approved the extra amount needed to place his coverage in effect. Confirmation of the call which lasted 4 minutes was received from that office as well a copy of the text from the representative he spoke with which included her name and contact information in the event he had any further questions or concerns. The coverage, which included the extra classification rating, was placed in effect and a confirmation letter advising of the adjusted premium was sent to Mr. ******* on December 5, 2021. At this time we have not found a basis on which to provide a full premium refund of premiums however, in order to resolve this matter, both policies are being cancelled today and a full refund of all premiums paid will be sent to Mr. *******. We hope to have resolved Mr. *******'s concerns.

      I have been calling American Income Life Insurance to cancel my policies. I have been getting the run around to no prevail and keep getting transferred to their cancelation department by their customer service department with no agents answering. This company is bad for business and makes it difficult to get in contact with someone to cancel. They also keep going up on policy prices without notifying hard paying customers.       I have had 2 whole life insurance policies with this company, the first since 2015. A sales agent continues to call me weekly despite being asked to stop and be placed on do not call list. I now have attempted twice to surrender my policies and the company continues not to complete my request.
