        Initial contact with Texas Bovem was in June 2023 about redoing a waterproofed deck with wood rot issue. Between July and September 2023, we paid ***** for an ***** project involving multiple decks, railings, pergola, stairs, siding, windows and minor interior work. Almost 5 months has passed by and the only work done was removal of deck floor and railing, adding an extension and post/beam framing along with partial waterproofing and some minor wood replacements. The decks are now left leaking and without any railing on the third level of the home. The leaks have caused more damage to the deck and the interior as well. The initial turnaround time for the upper deck was 2 weeks in July 2023 and Texas Bovem has been repeatedly telling us that they will finish it and week after week has gone by without any work done. I have made several attempts to reduce the scope of work and at least finish the deck part of the project for the initial agreed amount of ***** but have had no success at all for 2 months of repeated attempts in good faith. I have already disputed the entire paid amount of ***** with my banks and Texas Bovem is aware of this. Im filing this complaint so that other customers are aware of this unacceptable behavior. I also request BBB to help resolve this with Texas Bovem to refund the entire amount so I can find another contractor to fix the issues caused by them before any further escalation and legal action due to the damages caused. I can provide any further documentation needed.

        We (Texas Bovem Construction, TBC), will have answer back from our merchant services to resolve this refund issue TBC and the customer processed his payments through two different methods.  We will have resolution in place no later than the end of January.

        I am rejecting this response because: I have only received partial refunds and still have not received all the refunds for all the transactions made with multiple cards. I will wait until they have processed all the refunds to respond in more detail.

        We signed an agreement with Texas Bovem Construction around 15th May 2023 to finish Deck, Fence, Windows, Siding, Painting. The advance we paid then was $14,000. The work end date in the agreement was 6/29/2023. The Deck and Fence were nearly complete by 9/15/2023. Texas Bovem says that they do not have the money for the Windows/Siding or the money to repay us which is required by law. If we subtract the agreed amount for the Fence/Deck which were in budget, the total overpayment is $25,067 which we have tried so many times to get Texas Bovem to complete the work with no success as they do not keep up to any commitment they make. Now they do not even answer texts/messages. Once they have the 3 people managing the company become inaccessible. Looking for an immediate refund.

        We have completed the siding removal and installation, we're currently working on the exterior paint starting on 1/13/2024 if weather permits

        I paid Texas Bovem Construction according to our contract, and was promised the job would be finished in 2 months. It has now been 18 months, and the project is still not even half complete. It is sad that contractors are not regulated in the state of Texas, and the project is not even built to standard code. My yard is also left ruined and trashed.

        I signed a contract with Texas Bovem on February 28th and paid $9,100 as a down payment for a ****************. Ive been told that the insurance documentation and permit bond would be given to me tomorrow and for three months have seen nothing. I have been stood up 5 different times. Ive seen 4 different painters to do walls and trim paint unrelated to the ****************. 2 have walked off the job saying they werent being paid by the *** 1 of them completely destroyed 5 doors and baseboards. There is paint on my furniture, door handles, floor, grout lines. The master bed frame was broken when they moved it. Texas Bovem will not respond to calls or texts.

        I am rejecting this response because: 

        Blanca told me she would refund the money by Wednesday June 19th. She did not make the payment. I responded to her request for another week to pay the refund that it was ok to extend until June 26th. She did not refund me. She emailed saying that she understood if I needed to go the legal route. To which I replied that I do not want to sue ******* At this point, the company still owes me $860.
