The management specifically the owner of the Oasis international market located at Spring Creek Plano, Tx has the worst customer service experience that I ever experienced. I ordered 30 pounds whole goat at the price $10.99/lb, and instead of receiving goat they gave me the lamb. I repeatedly asked the butcher several times to give me goat and asked for assurance that it is goat and not lamb (which we do not eat in my household due to smell and excessive fat). The following day when I cooked some of the meat (around 2. lbs) came to find out it is not goat and indeed is lamb, I called the store and the owner picked up the phone, and explain the issue but he responded in a very rude manner and used very abuse language and said "shut up" and hung up the phone on me. I then personally went to the store (Oasis) with my mother, and came to find out person I spoke to on the phone was the store owner. I asked one of the employee behind the the register to see the owner or manager of the store. He continued to stand in the corner so I walked over to him and I tried explained to him what happened in a calm and gentle manner, but he refused to listen to me and said it was, "me who spoke to you on the phone, and I am the owner of the store" and started to misbehave and became unnecessarily aggressive with me and my mother in front of the other customers and the employees present in the store and started pushing the cart that my mother was holding. It was very humiliating and stressful behavior/situation for two women as my mom is a heart patient as well. I left the cart along with the meat inside, costing $330 as we can not consume the lamb meat. I even told him I would report and complain, to which he replied "go and do whatever you can." This extremely bad behavior displayed by the owner of the business is unethical and very unprofessional. He does not know how to behave with the customers especially with ladies.

Hello, what we sold to this customer was goat and not lamb. It clearly indicates that on the receipt. My butchers are instructed to mark everything as it is. In our cooler the goat and lamb are identified from the slaughter house and my butchers are trained properly and can easily read these marks coming from the slaughter house which say whether the animal is a goat or lamb, they can also easily identify it. As the customer indicated to the BBB she asked for goat and that is exactly what she got but I think what ever happened at her home to make her think it is lamb and not goat is something we cannot control from our side. There could be many reasons why she thought it was a lamb such as the way she cooked or the spices she added or any other reason. When she called we tried to explain this to her politely but when she did not hear the answer she wanted she became very upset and started speaking very foully. Then when she came to the store she was extremely aggressive and continued to use foul language and if I'm not mistaken she called the owner a devil in the language she speaks. Then she decided to leave her meat that she bought which she could have used because it was good meat and she left the store while screaming. We take our customers seriously and strive to please them and we feel bad when a situation like this occurs and we do try to always avoid these situations at our store.
