Shoddy workmanship. Daltex replaced my roof under a hail damage insurance settlement. It has been six years since they finished and the roof has leaked in the same area from day one. Over the years they attempted, and failed, to fix the problem. I have had multiple leaks in the same area. Each time they worked on the problem the leaks continued. I have had damage to walls, carpet and ceilings. I have tried to contact them to fix the current leak to no avail. They will not answer either my phone messages or texts.

I am truly upset that Mr. ***** has sent this email to the BBB or any other person regarding our workmanship and Non response to him, we pride ourselves on our attentiveness to our customer needs and that is why we have been in business for more than 29 years.

To set the record straight Mr. ***** has my personal cell phone number and has called and text numerous times and I have been responsive to his every need even when it was not due to any issues or workmanship by Daltex Contractors.

Mr. ***** roof was installed on 7/2017, First Contact from Mr. ***** was on 10/26/2020 which was on a potential leak, which was more than 3 years after his roof was installed. Upon investigation we determined to take a portion of his roof off and check for any damages or cause of a leak. That work was done on 11/23/2020 after we ordered the shingles which were a specialty shingle not available at just any store to pick up.

We did not hear from Mr. ***** again until 12/10/2022 - more than 2 years after the repair. Again Lance L****** - Owner went out that day to check to see what was going on during a rain storm. Mr. L****** noted that Mr. ***** had enormous amounts of leaves in the valleys, gutters and through the roof which were saturated and causing the piles due to long-term sitting in those locations to penetrate through a small area. This was not a workmanship issue but a maintenance issue. We had our team remove the leaves off the roof system and gutters and Mr. ***** paid them $200.00 to do this work and then tipped them $20.00 for such a great job.

On 2/8/2023 we received a text message from Mr. ***** that a leak in the same location as the original one had come back which he indicated was on the brick sidewall of the house. On 2/10/2023 I responded to Mr. ***** that Mr. L****** was out of town until Tuesday and he would contact him upon his return. Mr. ***** indicated that he was going to be in Carmel California for the week, and said that it was pretty sure leak is where is butts in the brick wall. Upon Mr. ***** return he texted Thursday 2/23/2023 and asked if we had found the problem. We needed access into the house to determine where water was coming in.

Then 2/27/2023 we get this email from the BBB of this letter from Mr. *****.

As all can see from the information, I am submitted at NO time have we ever not responded to Mr. ***** and given every attention to any issue he had regardless of it being a Daltex issue or a Maintenance issue. I have all the text, voicemails and contracts that will prove this information is accurate and the in-depth story to Mr. *****. Again, we will continue to work with Mr. ***** to resolve any issue that is Daltex related as we have with any other customer, if we feel is the workmanship of Daltex Contractors.
