This is the worst run gun sports online vender that is on the internet. I attempted to purchase a magazine that showed in stock. Not trusting what I read, I called their customer service department to confirm that the item was in stock..called 5 times because they hide behind their voice prompt gatekeeper. Finally, I get a guy to answer that seemed to have it on the ball...matter of fact on their survey I gave him an attaboy...he tells me that they had 12 in stock, but that I'd have to order online. I did so immediately with them still showing that the item was 'In Stock.' The website warns you that items will be shipped within 5-7 business days. I accepted this and waited for notification. 8 business days later, crickets from them. I send them an email, because now I'm starting a paper trail. I get some bot reply stating that they're waiting for "one of their other warehouses" to ship to them and they'll get out my order. After more than 2 weeks, I'd finally had enough and called them again. Same gatekeeper and I hung up. A few minutes later I get a call from 'Tim' and I start to explain to him my concerns about them not shipping, then he does the corporate lock step and reads from the same bot response. I then proceed to explain to him that there is a law about false advertising, and they needed to comply with it, send me my order, or cancel it and face a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I cussed once in my frustration, and he snapped telling me not to cuss as if he's the boss of me. So, Tim cancels my order and now I have gone two weeks without what I ordered and now I have to find a reputable vendor to buy my item through. Omaha Outdoors is simply the worst all around, they falsely advertise and take your money and leave you to pursue the status of your order hiding behind bots and voice prompt computers. I guess that they're hiding because they are using others money and cheating them out too generating complaints. BBB rate them please. Thanks
