Contacted them in August for a quote. Quote received & service scheduled. When I spoke with ************ told him I would be paying by ********* did not say he did not accept cards. The trees were trimmed on a ********** tried make payment the following Monday. This is when the insanity started.He said the Chase credit card app was down. I told him to let me know when it was back up so I could make payment. He sent a text 2 days later saying the app was still down. I said ok when you get a way to process a payment by card I will make payment. He proceeded to harass & try to bully me because I did not want to pay via Zelle. He proceeded to tell me he would return the tree branches to my driveway & file a lean on my house. He showed up at my house unannounced. I told him if he or any of his workers brought anything back to my house I would call the police for trespassing. All this time I am texting him to send me a way to make payment by card-Square, Quickbooks, etc. All he wanted was cash. He even offered me a lower price if I would pay cash. At this point its about ************* said no send me a way to pay via card. When I refused to pay cash he then sent an email with a letter threatening to take me to small claims court & to call my landlord. He showed up at my house unannounced & taped the letter to my door. In this letter he then tried to charge me $500 which included late fees. No where in the quote or on the original invoice did it discuss not accepting cards or late fees. My ************ made an arrangement as far as the tree trimming. I would pay & the price was taken off of my rent. I told him contacting my landlord would do nothing. He wasnt going to pay him. We had a few email exchanges where I proceeded to inform him of proper business practices & that I would not be using Zelle.Finally received an invoice on 8/24 via SwipeSimple that I paid via card. That is all I asked for from the beginning. I am spreading the word about Josues business practices.
