Transaction Date was 7/15/2022 I informed sales person that I wanted to go through my credit union to obtain the loan for the shower installment but he told me it'd be better to go through their finance company. When I received the document it revealed that the interest rate is almost 16%, (*****%), and I'd end up paying $24,311.28 for a $12,500.00 loan. I could've gotten a much better interest rate had I gone through my credit union. The sales person also told me that the option for monthly payments would be $145.00 for 10 years but it's actually $289.42 for 84 months, 7 years. He in addition told me that the finance company was giving me $6000.00 of the loan up front but I never received it. That amount went to Safe Showers instead and he never informed me of that. I notified the salesman and the company on 7/25 that I want to drop the deal and also sent notification in writing on 7/28 as requested by the owner but I have yet to receive anything in writing from them that the transaction is cancelled. I was told that the materials have already been ordered and I've asked them to cancel the order. On 7/22 the comapny called my home and left a message that the materials would be in on 8/29. I've been informed by the loan company that I'm responsible for the $6000.00, money that I never knowingly authorized for the company to have. They've informed me that they reached out to them on 8/2 to try to get them to return the $6000.00 but they have not responded. One of my other concerns is what if the materials are being processed for shipment while we're waitng for a response and I'd be held responsible for some type of payments even if they do agree to return the money? . I'm a senior citizen, I was manipulated, for this reason I do not trust the company, and I do not want to do business with them. Please assist.
