    My door arrived very badly packaged and it was terribly smashed. I immediately took photos and sent them to the company. After dodging my demands for a refund for almost a year theyre telling me that I waited too long to lodge a complaint which of course is not true because I filed one immediately. and theyre asking me to eat the $6000.

    I am so sorry you feel this way about our company, it's honestly very sad to hear this from a customer that we have a settlement in place with , we feel you are not being fair and let me explain why ! 3 to 4 days after you received your doors, we immediately contacted you, first to apologize about circumstances of getting a damaged door (damage caused by the freight company) and, second to let you know that we would rush a new order so we can deliver what you needed a correct and not damaged door. As you can clearly see below that email was sent to your email account on Feb 5th 2021. (Attached)Also I was clear and expressed that we go above and beyond with our customers to make sure they are 100 % satisfied, so I also offered to drive the second order from our facility in *********** all the way to final destination in the North East to avoid an extra risk of having to go through standard common carrier, have in mind this would incur Exclusive Iron Doors in to an astronomical expense just to make sure the customer was finally happy.After offering all these options you said , you know what we don't want the doors any more, you confirmed with us they are beautiful but not *** you frame would hold the weight of the steel fabrication, we honestly were surprised since obviously our doors being made out of steel are expected to be heavy, nevertheless we didn't complaint or hesitate to still help you as a customer , explained that all of our sells were final and there is no way we can return the doors, the option then was to get a replacement; so we asked for a few days to see if we could make something work, since you obviously had a non common situation.After a few more days of analyzing the case we came with the resolution, was to offer to put the non damaged door in our stock program and wait until the unit was sold to get you a refund that excludes the shipping charge, you agreed , also we asked for you to repack the single door with damage to get a full refund and you denied to do that, you personally decided on the route to put a claim with the carrier and expected a refund from them.We educated you that it was very hard to get credits from standard carriers and still decided to take the risk. We had absolutely no control of that .After a good year passed by we admit not following up the correct way to get you a credit back for the unit that was returned and sold , since we have no process for this in place , this is something that doesn't happen to be honest with you, but as soon as we received emails from you, we sent you the settlement for the credit to receive and never heard from you again. You followed up after months and we explained that we needed the settlement letter to be signed to get your corresponding credit.After receiving the settlement signed from you for $ 4, ****** we sent you a check that took 4 to 5 days to arrive and was immediately cashed. After cashing out the check you threatened us with exposing our company if we didn't refund you in full with the single door and shipping charge that you were charged , you personally decided not to return the damaged product to be fully clear , that was a Saturday 26th of February to be precise , i was with my family , still responded and honestly wasn't very emphatic, but never disrespectful and said , **** people dishonest like you is not worth to be around wished you luck and accepted to credit you back in FULL !On Monday or Tuesday you infringed in our written and signed fair settlement, expressed that our cheep attorney missed on small detail on our contract and that you will turn this in to your attorney office , at this point we can can no longer be responsible or help you in any way now, we have been helpful and understandable with you and your case, but i just feel like there is not going to be a fair side for you , at this point I am very sorry this is turning to be this way but we have lost credibility in you and your word.We will still continue to work hard for all of our loyal distributors that are over 25 in different states , thousands and thousands of satisfied customers around the ** and as important our staff that with over 160 collaborators who know who we are and how we do business.
