My account number is *******. I was charged for my initial service on July 22, 2020 for the amount of $21.65 transaction number ********. Moving forward I payed my quarterly service on August 19, 2020 for the amount of $107.17 transaction number ********. Moving forward I payed a quarterly service on October 20, 2020 for the amount of $107.17 transaction number ********. Moving forward I payed a quarterly service on March 25, 2021 for the amount of $107.17 transaction number ********. I received MY LAST quarterly service on 07/13/21 that I did not pay for until August 03, 2021 through a phone call. The amount charged to my banking account on 08/03/2021 was $99.00 through the name of "Aptive Environmental - NA". On October 11, 2021 I get another charge from "Aptive Environmental -NA" for the amount of $104.00 for no reason. We are now in December 3, 2021 and despite so many calls, emails, and prove that I payed the service I received on 07/13/2021 on the date of 08/03/2021, I have not received any contact from them and my money back.Business response

We have sought to cancel services to no avail. We called in July 2021 to say we did not like the treatments because they were not working for the various insects as promised. We had a ton of mosquitos, ants, and bees and for the price we were paying, seems like it should take care of at least one of those things. We were given a complimentary retreatment and the representative told us that if we were not satisfied after the complimentary treatment, we could cancel. We tried cancelling after that and have still been told we cannot cancel. We were already promised the ability to cancel after the July 2021 retreatment. We want to cancel and we are extremely unsatisfied with this company. We have tried cancelling twice by phone and once via email.When we agreed to a treatment in June 2021, we WERE NOT told that we were signing up for a year-long contract. We were told that we were signed up for three treatments, though our online account shows us signed up through May 2022. This was a sneaky way to get us to sign up for one year of repeated billing for a service that does not work. I highly recommend avoiding this company. They are not transparent at all and have caused such a headache!Business response

Two visits in the summer / fall 2021. I was approached at home by a sales rep that claimed that all my neighbors were subscribing to Aptive's services (which found later to be false according to the neighbors.) He gave me a price and said that he would lock that price for a year. There were no mention of a cancellation penalty. My home had a yellow jacket problem, and after the first application the problem was temporarily gone. Less than a month later the problem was back. Aptive came and did another paid visit. This time it took less than a week for the pest to reappear. My grandson and I were stung several times sitting on my deck. I went to an entomologist website and resolved the issue myself. Today I called to cancel another service scheduled for tomorrow and found that I could not cancel unless I pay a $199 cancellation fee that was buried in the fine print and conveniently not mentioned by the salesman. When I spoke to one of Aptive's representative about this, she pleasantly noted that ot was in the paperwork sent to me. We were then disconnected. I have no idea whether I got the cancellation or not.Business response
