We are duty military family and I got referred by my military friend to buy a car here because they told us landmark is very kind and is very happy to help military personnel who register their car in another state of their home record. We bought our car on Aug. 6th and were expecting our registration to come in 2-3 months and that was when my military friend received hers (She bought the car late July and received the plate in 2 months from WA state). Now is Dec. 4th, in these 4 months of waiting, I have to take time off from work each month to get a new temp tag which only valid for 1 month. And every time I called and talked to the manager or front desk or finance manager they all told me the paper work has been sent and it was processing. After 2 months, I called WA DMV and DMV told me the dealership never sent the paperwork. I talked to landmark honda at that time and asked them and they said they already sent it and I trusted them. What a fool am I! Today I am at landmark Honda and again trying to get a 1 month temp plate, they finally told me the paperwork was just sent to DMV on Nov. 16th 2021, which was more than 3.5 months after the purchase, Landmark Honda didn't send the correct paperwork to DMV and kept on lying to the customer to wait and have to take precious time off work to drive and wait at the dealership to get a 1 month temp plate which is at least half day of time each time. I wouldn't be so mad if they told me earlier that they made a mistake and it would take longer for them to process the paperwork or if they would offer a dealer tag when they find out they had trouble processing the paperwork to make up to their mistake so I do not have to come every month because of their mistake. When I was questioning why they were lying to their customers and why they were not being honest, all the people started to trying to pointing to other coworkers saying the person who did the paperwork got fired already or blaming me of being military and ots tagBusiness response

This deal took time to get to the DMV for 2 reasons.
First, we use a third party DMV Nationwide to process the paperwork for out of state registration.
Second, the file was rejected several times for pending documents to cover the tax exemption (LES...).
We do apologize for all the delays and VA DMV has approved the issuance of a temporary tag.
As requested by the customer the temporary tag will be mailed by ***.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Please ask the merchant to mail me the temp tag or send someone to change the temp tag EVERY TIME in the future. FYI, the current temp tag expires on 1/9/2022. I will need a new temp tag on that day. Please also ask the merchant to look into the third party to find out if the actual document has been submitted as I called WA DMV and they told me they still didn't receive the paperwork.
