    Regards to Kenny's Body Shop...This story begins Aug 19 2022 when I had an accident in my 2021 Toyota Tacoma in which front end damage a long with side airbags were deployed ( which in turn damaged my headliner)Now let's skip ahead until September/October in which I had Kenny's Body Shop do the repair (Keeping in mind that I work out of state while residing in Danville VA) Originally, I was told that the headliner would have to be ordered and I would be contacted when it arrived, Skip ahead 5 weeks, still not in...Keep in mind, My truck was repaired and I have it back minus my new headliner (Still have damaged liner) skip ahead until November, made several attempts to get truck in the shop. Was told each time (x6) Per Bonnie (******* ****) that Kenny would call me back ..Never a call ...In March, I had a message from Kenny to call him to schedule install, again I work out of state so I have to make it work when I'm in town/state....I get back late like March 29 called and tried to get it to shop in April (No dice) I'm not leaving fairly new truck on the outside of gate or across the shop to be broken into or more damage....Skip to April 2023 I called shop and said that I was trading my 2021 Tacoma for a 2023 Tacoma from Mark ******** (in which I did May 13, 2023) before I was able to trade, I had to have headliner repaired/fixed in which I asked if their shop could do it, answer was yes...Within 2 days and $2555.00 (paid on my CC)later, it was repaired and traded for my new truck...Here is the problem...***** paid Kenny's Body Shop for the work to be completed on my 2021....I have been calling Kenny's Body Shop since May 2023 for reimbursement, yesterday I was told that "too much time lapsed and he was stuck with the headliner ordered...Ok...No problem...I will be in to pick up the headliner that was clearly paid for from ***** (was told we used it already elsewhere) Then they refused to pay what ***** paid them when they didn't complete the job....

    We did it all by the book. He had over 13k worth of damage when he brought his truck in in August of 2022 and we repaired all but headliner. Headliner was on national backorder. We received the headliner on 11/7/2022 and placed in a back room until we could install. We contacted him 6 times to get the headliner installed and he never would show up to for his appointments. We told him we had to take out the windshield to get the headliner in and he didn’t want us to do that because he was afraid his windshield might leak. About 6-8 months later the consumer said that he had a Toyota dealer put the headliner in. His insurance paid us to put a headliner in but he chose to pay Toyota to put one in.
