Terrible company!!!!! This was our last Military move for retirement after 28 yeas in the Army. We requested our household goods out of temp storage on June 2, 2023. We had a delivery date with a no later than date of July 10, 2023. On July 10th, the delivered only part of our shipment, this was supposed to be a total delivery, not a partial shipment. The delivery driver was new to the military process and was terrible! We were supposed to have unpackers and had non, and half of our shipment he wrote down that he was bringing, was nowhere to be found. The company that our stuff was in storge at Bremerton Transfer and Storage Co, would not answer the phone or return email to where the rest of our shipment was according to Interstate. Took another month to get them to schedule another driver to bring the remainder of our shipment, so we were at 30 days past delivery date. We spent many hours on the phone trying to figure where our stuff was and trying to get it delivered to us. Second truck comes on August 10, 2023, and we are missing a lot of our stuff. Again, according to Interstate, they were calling Bremerton Transfer, no answer or explanation on where the rest of our shipment is. We were missing our entire living room. Items missing couch, loveseat, rug, ottoman, and 12 boxes/items from our inventory list. Had another 25 items or so broken to pieces or damaged. Filed our claim on August 23, 2023. I understand that they have 60 days to respond to our claim, but you would think after what happened with our shipment that they would be trying to help us get this settled so our family can have furniture to sit on in our new home, instead of being on camping chairs. It is not October 9th and still no offer from this company, they have 12 more days till they hit the 60-day mark. Just want other military family's to be aware of this and use cautions on this company being assigned to move you. Hopefully by Christmas my family will have furniture!!!Review from Taylor F.

I have never had to deal with a sadder excuse of a company. We moved with Interstate relocation services through the military and because of this we will be moving ourselves for the rest of my husbands career. We moved from NC to AR. Mind you there is ONE STATE in between the two (TN). In this process where our things were picked up on July 1 and dropped off July 19, in those 18 days they managed to lose about 1/5 of our personal belongings and break another 1/5. As if moving wasn’t stressful enough, the moving company couldn’t even do their job of getting our items from point A to point B. I filed a claim for all missing and damaged items. The claim process was supposed to take no more than 60 days ( and this process is tedious to say the least) and I was assured this would be taken care of within the time frame of the 60 days. Seems like plenty of time, right? 2 months to process a claim and it only took you two weeks to do all this damage. When the 60 days as up, I gave them a call and they assured me it was going to be done within the next two days, no problem, 2 days is no big deal after I waited 2 months. I call again, they hadn’t even STARTED the claim due to the man assigned to our case having bronchitis for the past two weeks. Didn’t add up at all, they had two months. They completely low balled us on our claim offer when it finally came the 3 months after the fact. People here fail to do their jobs to every single extent, and it seemed like none of the employees were communicating with each other. That’s probably why this office is stuck in a cheap, sad part of northern Virginia. Maybe do a better job with your customers and consider that people care about their items and furniture and those things are not easily replaceable. Horrible company, They constantly change pricing, We paid up front for the move from Virginia to Nebraska, the amount was to include pick up, transportation, storage, insurance and delivery. Storage was charged extra, delivery was charged extra they damaged furniture and goods over 12K, then they claim we have to pay more money just to review the claim. Communication is horrible after you have paid unless they are extorting additional funds, they even called me at 4:00am to collect money before delivery. Incredible company! Moved a whole house from Virginia to Florida and nothing got broken! Incredible! Jessie and his crew were professional, timely and truthful! They did not damage anything unloading or loading! I had very heavy items. Kim estimated perfectly, there were no hidden costs! Ann followed the progress and keep me informed of everything! I will hire them again! Highly recommend them! It was my best move ever and I have moved numerous times across the country!Review from Lewis G.

Highly recommended. Prior to the move the move coordinator worked with me to accommodate a delay in getting into my new place. Then on move day everything went well. The crew showed up on time and they really delivered. They worked hard until the job was completed and there were no damages or problems of any kind. Interstate provided fantastic service during a recent move. From the get-go, they were efficient in responding to my questions. They provided helpful guidance for preparation and planning. On move day, the staff was professional, careful and thoughtful in how they moved each piece. If you're looking for professional movers, who take care of your furniture and belongings, who have solid experience, "know how", and "can do" attitude -- look no further! Our experience with Interstate was top notch! I highly recommend Hugo and his team -- ask for them!!! Tina and Mike helped set up our move, and Tina remained attentive as the process unfolded. I was so lucky to have had Interstate recommended to me. Would not ever move again without them. The process was well-run and executed from start to finish and each individual I interacted with was exceptionally professional. The team they sent out was fantastic. If you're moving, do yourself a favor and go with Interstate.
