Purchased a dishwasher from Sterling Appliance in early May, it was not installed correctly and was missing plugs. It moved quite a bit due to installation and leaked on day 1 of using. We called, they came out and said nothing was wrong. Took pictures and video and tried to send to them via email and text they gave us, never went through. this went back and forth for a few weeks. Told us it was under warranty with GE and they handle any issues with service. Sterling, through this entire process was never proactive in seeing if issues were fixed, kept saying they would not replace it and it was up to GE. At no time did Sterling say they would assist. Would not let us speak with the owner. we spent over $1,000 on the machine and on installation. We should at least get our money back for the inconvenience but IN NO WAY do they believe in, the customer is always right. We were upset that a new purchase required modifications and Sterling washed their hands. I will NEVER purchase from them and I will ensure all of our neighbors in our community know this as we recommend business in the area. I liken this to buying a TV, you take it out of the box and no picture is visible, do you call the manufacturer or do you call the store you purchased it from and have them take care of it/replace it? Would you want the store to ignore you and point fingers somewhere else? BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Even a member of their service team said our dishwasher needed to be replaced (****) and his manager did nothing. Trust your people who are actually honest instead of ignoring. Bad trust issues with your team. Sales person, and manager did nothing to help AT ALL.
