Here to warn any future potential purchasers of a JK Monarch home. Believe all the reviews here. I am here to confirm as a home owner living in a home built by JK Monarch, that all the complaints you see here are similar for a reason. You will hear the term "industry standard" as you point out blatant quality issues throughout the build. They will tell you don't worry it will be taken care of during your warranty period. That's when the communication will become extremely difficult. IF THEY decide your issue is in fact a warranty issue, you will quickly learn that they have severe scheduling issues, subs will show up with little to no information as to what they are supposed to fix and not have the tools or correct products to do the work. After being told for over a year that all our drywall issues including bowed and concaved walls, nail pops, cracks, exposed seams that they are electing to cut us a check for 1k in lieu of fixing their work. Devastating. I have hundreds of pictures throughout the build to back up all of our issues. Working with JK Monarch is nothing short of a nightmare. DO NOT EXPECT anything other than a barely industry standard home for a premium price. They are very good at making their homes look good from a distance but fail to hold up under any scrutiny once you move in. Just like the reviews below, we also have warped walls, too many paint issues to list all including paint all over the floors, overspray on shelving, peeling paint due to lack of paint prep VERIFIED by their own ******************************* rep. *** floor that had to be jacked up from underneath the home to bring flooring level now creaks and cracks everywhere. I have spoken to multiple JK Homeowners now that simply gave up. I encourage any current JK Monarch home owner reading this to share their honest experience for the protection of any future hard working families considering a JK Monarch home. BUYER BEWARE.

Also would echo to stay away from this builder! The build took 15 months after we were told 9months. We also had warranty issues that are now on 4months waiting for them to resolve. Life is too short and money too valuable to waste either of them with this company!

I would discourage anyone from purchasing a JK Monarch home. This builder is dishonest and does not build the quality home that it advertises. We purchased a lot in a new neighborhood in ******** that JK Monarch was developing. Our home was completed almost 4 months later than promised and we had 6 contract extensions, several of which came 1 to 2 days before our closing date. During the building process, they refused to give any updates and ignored calls from our realtor...they are absolutely the WORST communicators. That was all very upsetting, but not nearly as upsetting as the shoddy workmanship we found after taking possession of the home. We have a wall that isn't straight, missing grout everywhere, cabinets with manufacturers defects all over them (which there is no way the installer didn't see!), a deck and fence that have so little stain on them you can see every brush stroke. We were promised an extended patio with stairs leading to the backyard, but we got an apartment sized patio with no stairs. They never communicated this to us, we just drove by and saw it. The landscaper, or other contractors, walked on and dragged objects across our driveway before it was dry, so there are ***** marks all over it. They also conveniently left it covered with plastic during our final walkthrough, saying it still needed to dry. They didn't remove the plastic until after we closed, so now we are fighting an uphill battle trying to get them to fix it. Our front stairs are not ever squared off! They won't answer calls or emails. It's impossible to know who is even in charge. By the way, we paid $709K for the house and added $49K in upgrades. Buying this home was a terrible mistake and I hope this post helps someone else not make the same mistake of buying a JK Monarch home. It's a terrible investment.
