About a month ago, I started to have yellow water come out of my faucets in my apartment. I contacted management, and they sent two people to look at it. They assured me that if I ran the water for 20 minutes every time I saw it, the water would eventually clear up permanently. A month went by, and this didnt happen. In fact, the water problem got worse. I kept calling for a maintenance person to come, and every time someone came, nothing changed. They kept telling me to run the water, but it wasnt working. Additionally, they kept telling me maintenance people would come on certain days, but no one showed up.I believe ***** (or at least thats the name I was given) was the one I spoke with, who told me hed be there but ended up not coming. He kept telling me it was being looked into, which I now assume is maintenance talk for Im not doing it. After explaining the situation to management multiple times, they kept asking me what was wrong with the water despite having already documented this in many emails. I eventually had to show up at the office, and only then was I able to explain the situation to *************************, a residential relations coordinator. They finally called the water utility and flushed the building's water daily to fix the problem. Since then, the water has improved, but it still runs yellow from time to time.When I spoke with **** about this, he said we would discuss compensation, and a manager would reach out to me. This was two days ago, and I have not heard back.Fast forward to today, I put in a maintenance request for a clogged drain. When I got home, my door was open just a crack, making my apartment accessible to anyone. This is a disgusting breach of security. Additionally, there was a dirty towel left on the sink, and the sink was still clogged.I dont know what to do. I need help, and theyre not being transparent with me at all.
