Beware - this business has very very poor service. We were looking for a plow for our property. We were considering purchasing a pick-up truck to put it on. We called with the make, model and year of the truck we might buy and asked what our options were. They said no problem, sold us a plow in January and cashed our check promptly. We bought the truck based on their recommendation. It took until April for the plow to arrive! We never even got a call with an update about the delay. I had to keep calling. When it finally arrived and we took the truck in for installation, they decided they couldnt install it. You can imagine we were a bit shocked. They said it turned out nothing would fit on our truck. Oops. I asked what changed from January when they said they could do it and they blamed a computer error. I asked for our money back, which they had been sitting on for three months. They didnt have a check for us, but said it would be in the mail tomorrow. That was a week ago. I called today for an update and got none. This company is extremely frustrating to deal with. They acted like they could not care less about us.

In January, ***************** came into our office and purchased a plow for his 2008 **** Ranger. We did not look over the truck. Im not sure if the truck was brought in with him, or not. I did ask him some questions, while filling out an auto-form via Western Plows. At that time, it looked as if the Western Defender would be a good plow to mount on his truck. What I didnt realize, at that time, was that we should only mount these plows on 4x4 trucks, not 4x2. This field auto-populated in Westerns portal. If Id had to enter that information, I would have asked that question while he was here. This was an honest mistake on my part.It took some time to get the plow ordered and shipped. Western is still having some lead time issues. When the truck was dropped off for the install, our shop manager inspected it and informed me that because it was a 2-wheel drive truck, with a coil suspension, and was an older model, it would not be a good idea to mount the plow.I immediately called **** to inform him of this information. When ***** and her father (****) came to pick up the truck, I informed them that we would be sending a refund check within a few days. She seemed suspicious, but I reassured her that our owner is not on-site and that when he returned we would get a check signed and in the mail. I told her we are not in the business of keeping peoples money, as weve been in business since the 60s.I am very sorry that this plow cannot be mounted on his truck. It is disappointing all the way around when we cant do what we plan to do.A refund check was cut for him yesterday morning. He should see it anytime now.Again, I apologize for any upset this has caused.
