I also would give zero stars or less if it were an option. This company is absolutely awful to work with: they lack professionalism, their craftsmanship is embarrassing, and they use questionable practices. Be sure to read every document you sign very closely and even get an attorney involved. They will make you sign a document stating you won't get earnest money back no matter what, and they may make you sign a document at closing releasing them of liability of honoring the warranty. The house that was supposed to be purchased but didn't end up closing has faulty doors and door hinges, bathroom fans did not work, and the emergency switch on the furnace was blocking the furnace filter door so you wouldn't have been able to change the furnace filter. They refused to address any of these items prior to closing, and then required the signature of a release of liability at closing releasing them of any responsibility and stating the property was being accepted as is when it wasn't. I can't believe they are still allowed to operate and that people still buy from them. When asked to fix the items that weren't functioning properly, the representatives from the company berated me and told me I was the problem (gas lighting much?). It was an awful experience.
