Completely agree with the reviews from **** * ********* and ********* * *********. My experience started with Brendan coming out and assuring me they would do the job with NO "out of pocket" costs to me and that they work very closely with my insurance company to ensure a smooth project. As my experience with roof damage/insurance claims is minimal I trusted what he said. I also asked him if the project exceeded the insurance reimbursement what they would do and he said Valiant "eats it", but he was very clear and so was I that I would incur NO "out of pocket" costs. No project estimate was ever forwarded to my attention and I went with Brendan saying they would do job for what insurance company pays. Wish I had recorded that conversation and certainly gotten in writing. The work was completed and then the fun began as I find out Valiant went to my insurance company with a supplemental claim for an additional $4200. The supplemental was filed and insurance company paid it as well. After going back and forth for (3) mo with both Valiant and insurance company I find out I owe VALIANT $5800 out of pocket and must pay them before insurance company will release final check. I contacted both Brendan, who says he's apologetic but there must have been "communication confusion", and Josiah who either isn't privy to what his sales team is saying to prospective customers or denies what the customer says. In either case, I had to come up with $5800 out of pocket with very little notice to get last check released, invoice paid and Warranty forwarded so I could at least ensure having received both. Warning to any new customers, get what they tell you in writing. They are very good at squeezing maximum $$ out of insurance companies and saying whatever it takes to get customers work, at my expense. Rumor within subdivision is that they are all experienced insurance adjusters and knowledgeable of how the process works while exploiting any possible chance to make a buck.
