On 2/12/22 I financed a car from ********** II through UACC. I put down $2560. After 3 consecutive days of it taking multiple tries to start the vehicle I began making calling **********. The calls were never returned. I was laid off from my job, my first payment was due to UACC 3/12/22 12, but was made 4/1/22 in the amount of $382. On 4/5/22 I canceled my insurance to switch to Geico for 1/4 of the rate. When Geico attempted to make the payment the rep apologized that there was an issue with the ownership of the vehicle and they could not provide insurance at this time. When we contacted our original insurance company they now told us the same thing. Days later I went to DMV to see why this was happening. There was no issue on my end. The temporary registration provided by the dealership expired 3/29/22 I contacted the dealership on 4/11/22 because the vehicle wouldnt start and took over 30 minutes connected to a live car to get power. I made my complaint and asked about my title and registration. I was told that they have the registration and I need to go there to restructure the contract. Confused, I do not have a contract with **********, I have a contract with UACC. I then contacted UACC and was told that 4 days after receiving payment ( so 4/5/22) the contract was bought back by the dealership but I do not have a current contract with them so they would not provide me with any information. Now, I had a vehicle that cannot be insured with no registration sticker and was left with no choice but to go down to the dealership to see what needed to be done. They told me they were the owners of the car, we had no finance contract and we had to leave the car with them or they can call the police and report it stolen. So we did. I immediately filed a complaint with DMV and Consumer Affairs. DMV called me, they informed me that the dealership lied, I am the owner of the vehicle, the title sent 5/3/22 to KAPOS! I still never received a letter of cancellation in the mailBusiness response

I got a loan though them to buy a car less then a month later the car blows up I spend ****** to get it repaired I got a little behind on my payments. Now something else is wrong with the motor again the car wont run I mean its been a mancanic problem since I got it if I dont pay what I owe on it they will repo it and mess up my credit report and if I do pay for it Im out double the money with out a vehicle something should definitely be done about this I need a legal department due to this issue Im paying ****** for a car that I havent been able to drive since I bought it just about I call them I get hung up on they tell me Im responsible for this like how is that possible it was junk when I bought itBusiness response

March 2022 vehicle was repossessed for non payment. I was given a total amount that included all fees to bri g balance to zero. Payme t was made account was current as of March 30 2022. I made my normal April payment in full noticed a misc fee of ******. Asked multiple times and was finally given it was an accounting error and the will adjust. Went to make May payment and noticed that they are now stating I'm behind again with another misc charge of *****. No explanation of the misc charge and or where the " late" payment is from. I **** reached out number of times with no response. This is unfair and unfounded ded billing practices.Business response

I financed a car through United Auto Credit. Every month they sent me car payment statement to my P.O. Box. When I paid they car off in Jan 2022 they never sent my title. I called them in Feb and they said they title came back to them. None of my car payment statements never came back to them but mysteriously the title did. So I gave them my home address to mail me the ******. They said it would take 2 weeks for me to receive it. It is almost May and EVERYTIME I call they said they will transfer me to the title department. They NEVER answer or return my calls and ALL I want is the title for the vehicle I paid for!!!! They are a scam!!Business response

I purchased a vehicle for my 16 year old son in January 2022.. we put down ***** for the car. My first payment was due February 4th we made that payment. Next came march 4th I called United auto credit to let them know I had some issues with fraud on my bank acct and could I please make the payment on march 18th. They noted the acct and told me yes thats fine. Well march 18 came along and at 5am that morning before I could even make the payment they repossessed the car. I called United auto credit crying I felt so bad for my son that was all his money he put down on the car. The lady at uac told me she seen I made an arrangement for the 18th to make the payment however uac made the decision to reassign the loan back to the dealership. Wow I still dont understand this I was told it would be ok to pay this on the 18th they never called me. I got a letter that they made this decision only 5 days after the payment was due. So now my son has no option to get his car back hes out his ***** and his belongings are still in that car and they are playing games with his stuff. Im asking please please help my son get his ***** back and belongings or even have them reopen the loan so he can get his car back this should have never happened I thought everything was fine when they accepted that arrangement for march 18. Please please please help me these people have been horrible and rude thank youBusiness response
