      I had money taken directly from my account without notice. It was my last payment that had went through. I went into the store, thinking that I still owed money. They processed my payment again, at an inflated amount without any further need to. when I asked about it they said that they had no account information available for me. I asked for employee names and numbers to file a report and they refused. I asked for a call back from the account manager and he refused to call me. After I had called back, they simply hung up on me. I would just like to have my money back and be done with it.

      The store manager contacted him and explained he had 2 payments remaining and not the one he believed.  The customer accepted the explanation and understands the payment that was processed as accurate. There us no further complaint.

      I have items from this place. I am about 3 months past due. I told them that I was having someone pay it, but that person is out of the country and wont be back until Sept. 3, 2024.The manager here in ********* is very nasty. Threatening letters and phone calls.I have asked them repeatedly to stop as my husband is int he hospital battling pancreatic cancer and they blew up his phone yesterday. That is harrassment.Also over 1 year ago we had to get one of the TVs we had from them replaced do to an incident that was NOT our fault. We were told that even though the TV we got as a repalcement was bigger and more money we wouldnt be charged extra, it would be the same amount as the first TV with the payments that were already paid applied to the new TV. At that time we were told that in total we owed about ********. Since then several of our items have been paid off. We asked a few months ago how much we still owe to get it paid off and we kept getting the answer we will have to check and get back to you, Never got an exact amount. Then finally we were told about 3 months ago that we owed *****. How can it still be that amount if we had made payments. It should be lower. Now either they didnt apply the payments to the new TV or they jacked up the price. I have asked for the agreement that was signed for the new TV and I havent gotten it yet either and that was months ago. Now they have the gall to harrass me when they wont even give me a straight answer about how much is still owed. Technically if they didnt honor the agreement about the new TV they breached the contract, So if they want payment from me, send me the paperwork with the total that is still owed and the agreement showing the new TV and until I get it there will be no more money, and if me or my husband get one more phoen call or banging on my door I will file harrassment charges. I can do it, because they wont give me a straight answer about the amount still owed and the agreement for the new TV.

      I have attempted to reach out to Mrs. ***** three times since I received the complaint and was unable to leave a message.  I called from the ********* store twice and from my cell phone on Thursday evening without success.  Since the time of the complaint, she has reached out to the store to contact the General manager regarding the situation.  Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because: I work nights so I am not always available during the day, I contacted **** who was very rude and tried to inform me that he would only be accepting cash, not accepting, even after **** was made aware he still fraudulently charged my card and has once again put my account into the negative.

      BBB Complaint has been resolved with ***************.  I have removed the credit card off of file at her local store.  We have deducted one payment off of the back end of the agreement for the inconvenience.  *************** did acknowledge that the payment for 8/27/24 was authorized, however she was charged a fee for each transaction not properly processed.  She was very satisfied with the resolution, and she now has a direct contact with me if another problem arises at the store.  It was a pleasure speaking with her, and she is good to go.  Thank you.

      Went to flexi by buddys I'm weslaco tx. Gave $150 deposit and was told that it would take two days for it to arrive 7 Days later I decided to go to another business and get the product there and I did a reversal claim with my bank to get the $150 back unfortunately that reversal was reverse and now I'm overdrawn $99 I call this store for them to give me my deposit back better only wanted to give me $100 back and keep $50 for a store credits or whatever I already told him I don't want no business with them I want my full refund back I still have not received my refunds

      As per the original complaint, ***** left $150 deposit via a credit card and or bank card and then went to the bank to try to reverse the $150 deposit.  Unfortunately, that same card he used for the deposit was cancelled.  All refunds are done on original form of payment.  That has been the issue all along, so I cannot issue a refund via cash as he requests, since a bank card was used. But, what we can do to compensate him, is giving him a $150 **** gift card. This is how he can be made whole. If agreed upon, I can have a giftcard available for pickup at original store by end of day 09/05/2024 or mailed to him.  Whichever is more convenient for him.

      8/16/24 Buddy's Manager ***** ran a debt without my permission. She stated that she would cancel the payment on 8/16/24. Today is 8/20/24 and I have not received my payment back into my bank account. As a mother of 4, that brought me down to 3.95. My kids go back to school tomorrow. This is not acceptable.

      The business has contact me multiple times a day regarding a past due payment on the date that the payment was due treating me like I was some kind of criminal who was already passed due. Had already reached out to differences that they told me I could not use because they were family. They have came by knocking in my air conditioning in my window attempting to break in. Luckily, I have a large dog deterred the break-in they have contacted my references, letting them know the merchandise that I have with them as well as sending me threatening letters and threatening voicemails, multiple times a day also blocking their number as a deception to get a hold of me.

      Reached out to the customer to gather more information.  The customer agreed to return the rental items 8-9-24 Friday morning to resolve any issues. The home visits and door knocking is part of the process to make contact. I advised the customer if he believes anything illegal has occurred to take that to the county for assistance.

      On July 3, 2024, I went into Buddy's Home Furnishings to purchase a couch and stove. Manager of store was extremely rude. Despite that found what I was looking for. Did paperwork and made deposit. The very next day found out I wasn't going to need those items. Since it was the 4th of July, I called the following morning. Explained to the manager that I no longer needed items. Asked when my deposit would be returned. Since I never actually received any items at my home. She said it would take 7-12 business days. I have been back into the store several times since this has happened inquiring about my deposit. Each time I'm told something as to why I haven't received it. I have also called the store and gotten similar responses. It was only a $100 deposit. But as of August ****** I still have yet to receive my deposit. I have looked for a corporate office number. I even filled out the form that comes up when you look up Buddys Corporate number. I have no other avenues to take.

      I purchased a bed frame mattress and box spring from this company in November. I paid my purchase off so to not incur any interest fees. Last month I received a phone call stating my payment was late. I advised the representative that I paid it off, they looked up my account and confirmed that the phone call was in error that the manager had to go in and clear my account due to them seeing that my last payment paid off the balance. Today I received a notification from my bank that Buddys drafted a ***** payment for a payment that I owed on a television. I called Buddys they reversed the payment and confirmed that I didnt purchase a tv and also confirmed that my account was paid off. The representative said they will be calling me back that the manager had to get to the bottom of this issue. I called my bank and advised stop payments from all of buddys requests. I never purchased a TV from them but now I feel as if my bank information is compromised within their store due to my bank account information being basically stolen to be added to another account for a payment. This is very unethical of this company to have stolen my information.

      Attempted to contact the customer at ********. Left message.

      Customer called back to the store and spoke with the ***  The GM explained the error on our part.  We have 2 customers with the same name.  The other customer got a tv and it was incorrectly typed to this customer.  The card on file on her account ran for auto pay and it was immediately refunded which will not incur any overdraft fees as it never fully processed when the error was found.  The account has been and is now closed.  We have offered the customer a $200.00 credit towards anything she may need for our mistake.  If she reaches back out we will be happy to speak with her further.  She has been a valued customer for a long time and we definitely had no intent to cause her an issue. It was a mistake on our part for sure, and we look forward to making that right with her as we continue business in the future.

      *******, the manager of Elizabethtown Buddy's Home Furnishings, charged me $71.05 after the return of the power lift chair. She told my wife (*******) on 7/12/24 that she was working on the refund and that it would be refunded. My wife called again on 7/15/24 and spoke to *******, and she again told my wife the money would be refunded. I called on 7/17/24 and spoke to *******; she told me to check my bank and that it had to be an issue on my side with the bank. I called her back after talking to my bank, and there were no pending reverse transactions or deposits. ******* then informed me that it would be 7 to 10 business days. Here we are, 7/29/24, and the refund still has not been given. ******* is now saying that she needed to email IT because she cannot see my account. When my wife called the shop again today (she was angry) and spoke to *******, she gave my wife another excuse and refused to listen to what my wife had to say. Because Buddy's Home Furnishings unauthorized withdrawal of $71.05 from my account, it interfered with another transaction that was paid, but I was charged an NSF charge of $29.00. I want Buddy's Home Furnishings to right their wrong and refund $71.05 and pay for their mistake by covering the $29.00 NSF fee.

      I called and spoke with ***************.  I explained to her it was totally my fault that the refund was not processed in a timely fashion as the ** had requested for it to be processed.  The ** does not have the clearance to perform the transaction.  I told her we will also cover the overdraft fee we caused.
