      *******, the manager of Elizabethtown Buddy's Home Furnishings, charged me $71.05 after the return of the power lift chair. She told my wife (*******) on 7/12/24 that she was working on the refund and that it would be refunded. My wife called again on 7/15/24 and spoke to *******, and she again told my wife the money would be refunded. I called on 7/17/24 and spoke to *******; she told me to check my bank and that it had to be an issue on my side with the bank. I called her back after talking to my bank, and there were no pending reverse transactions or deposits. ******* then informed me that it would be 7 to 10 business days. Here we are, 7/29/24, and the refund still has not been given. ******* is now saying that she needed to email IT because she cannot see my account. When my wife called the shop again today (she was angry) and spoke to *******, she gave my wife another excuse and refused to listen to what my wife had to say. Because Buddy's Home Furnishings unauthorized withdrawal of $71.05 from my account, it interfered with another transaction that was paid, but I was charged an NSF charge of $29.00. I want Buddy's Home Furnishings to right their wrong and refund $71.05 and pay for their mistake by covering the $29.00 NSF fee.

      I called and spoke with ***************.  I explained to her it was totally my fault that the refund was not processed in a timely fashion as the ** had requested for it to be processed.  The ** does not have the clearance to perform the transaction.  I told her we will also cover the overdraft fee we caused.

      I have been asking this company to please work with me on payments as my hours been cut at work & have let them know this thru email every week cause I feel too scared to call or go in cause they intimidate me & because I'm a woman I feel they do that on purpose & keep me scared....I've been renting from them since January 2024 & never was late on my payments of ****** every week until the last 3 weeks when my hours been cut at work....

      Went in to by a fridge. It was missing the bottom shelf I was told they would order it for me. They never did. Then the fridge broke and they took the fridge for six months leaving me with no cold water in my kitchen I have 2 kids. When the fridge wasn returned it was missing even more parts of the shelfs... now the fridge is paid off and I'm paying for insurance on the item the water line inside the fridge door broke. They told me they would fix it cause it is in the fridge they came out to try and couldn't fix it now they are refusing to fix it cause they say they don't know how... but I'm paying for the insurance still and now I'm without cold water on my kitchen again going on 2 months

      I researched this service issue with the store manager and the reviewed original lease agreement. The refrigerator was missing a crisper drawer when purchased and was discounted, then a signed agreement for the purchase with the discount. The refrigerator was paid in full when the water line started leaking. There was not an active paid in full service plan, however we purchased a new water line and serviced in home as a customer favor. The leak was not the water line from the wall but under the refrigerator where rodents have chewed and damaged the line. We explained that we can not help with that issue. We were told the husband can find a way to resolve that issue himself. We do offer a paid in full service plan but the customer refused to keep the option after the item was paid in full.

      The customer originally stated that insurance was being purchased, however, there is not an active insurance/benefits plan associated with any account with the customer.  The extended 1 year insurance/benefits after the item has been paid in full is not active, no payments were posted after the item was paid out. There is not any insurance/protection on this refrigerator due to the customer opting to cancel at purchase to .avoid further payments.  After the accommodation and favor of looking into the fridge after paid in full, there is no liability for Buddy's to service this item. We did locate the issue and gave advice to help the customer resolve this issue at their liability.

      I've been a customer of **********************'s Home Furniture for almost a yr. They kept coming up with excuses as to why it wasn't delivered on time. When it finally was delivered it was the wrong bedroom set. In the process of them taking the furniture down the hall they put a hole in the wall to which I told them to just take it all back because at this point I was over it. Then when I call the Greenville NC store that I purchased it from I was informed they were short delivery drivers so she had her husband to deliver it which was not even an employee of Buddy's. So then I was charged for 2 weeks for furniture I didn't receive and it took days for them to hook up my dryer that was delivered. Now I'm currently getting large charges to my account when I'm receiving text saying how much my actual payment is and their charging hundreds of dollars more.

      The customer has active accounts from 9/1/2023 and has been a great customer.  She was given free weeks to resolve the delivery issues last year.  The store follows the guidelines to contact her regarding the past due accounts.  The customer is being charged the standard payment including late fees per the agreement.  No additional fees are added.

      Buddy's came to my house banging on my doors windows and side of my house screaming for me to come the f*** outside and give them there fuc**** merchandise while I was gone and my 15 year old daughter was home alone then today they do the same thing and on top of that they come to my job like wth ...

      We have attempted to make contact with *********************** multiple times over the past couple of months. We have called, sent text messages and mailed letters in attempts to contact him and assist him with his account. Our employee visited him on June 24th, knocked on the door and was told by someone to hold on and they never came back. Our employee video logged the visit and left a door hanger. On June 26th he visited the home, on this visit 2 ladies over 18 years old and 3 kids were outside. One lady stated she is **************** best friend, she attempted to call **************** with no response. His daughter then attempted to contact **************** with no response. Our employee then contacted me for permission to visit ************** at his place of employment, I asked for details and gave him permission. When our employee pulled into the lot, **************** ran up to our vehicle and attacked our employee. Our employee had me on speaker phone at the time, I heard **************** shouting profanities and screaming at our employee. I instructed our employee to leave. Our employee has the assault on video, it shows **************** kicking the door of the vehicle closed on our employees leg and screaming at him. Then hitting the window with a tool. Our employee informed him he would call the police if he did not back away. **************** supervisor came over and apologized for his behavior and our employee left. I personally called **************** on June 27th to assist him with his account. The moment I introduced myself, he immediately began shouting and screaming profanities. All we ask is for **************** to return our merchandise at this point. Communication is the key. I sincerely apologize if your young daughter was home alone and made afraid by us knocking on the door. Our employee states he did not use profanity at any point. Communication is the key with us, all we ask is that you communicate with us. We love helping out customers and gladly help thousands every year. Please reach out to our store and we will help in any way we can.

      Last year November I purchased furniture from the Buddys home furniture company as of now they are threatening to pursue a misdemeanor because I lost employment and I paid a huge lump sum to the company of $2,000. I did ask how much was the remaining balance I never received an answer. *** had numerous attempts of harassment from the company also involving bamming and hard knocks at the door to take back furniture Ive paid for.

      The company asked me to return the furniture after I tried to negotiate the purchase. I even asked for a conference call with the manager and owner they did not correspond with me at all. I truly believe this is bad communication and unwilling to coordinate all business on their behalf and unacceptable behavior. I paid so much to this company and unwilling to help.

      May 2024 June 2024 I arranged an accont for a fridge an stove for a new place I was planning to live!I had no exact address or move in date which was clearly understood by your sales lady who told me that it would be fine to go ahead an set up acct on these items an I would let her know at least 7 days ahead of delivery date incase she would have to order me new items incase the 2 I set up account with were sold before I needed them!! Turns I didn't need the items after all an I tried to refund my money and they refused !! So instead of demanding my money back I offered to still do business with them an get a Sleeper sofa which they offer online !! But they CANT SELL ME ONE !SO I ASK FOR MY MONEY AGAIN AND THEY REFUSED!! WILLING TO TRY AN BE CIVIL I OFFER TO PURCHASE A TV AND THEY REFUSED TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT WITH THE 318 DOLLARS I ALREADY GAVE THEM FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !!! THEY TOLD ME MY MONEY WAS NON REFUNDABLE OR WOULD BE CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT!! NOW THEY HAVE LITERALLY STOLEN OVER 300 DOLLARS FROM ME AND BASICALLY TOLD ME TO Bad so sad I NEVER GOT ANY MERCHANDISE AN WAS LIED TO !!!       We explained to the customer from our ******************* level the terms of the lease. We do not offer refunds as stated in section 1 of our lease agreement for any early lease termination. We offered them an exception under our lifetime reinstatement feature which states that the monies paid can be used as a store credit towards the lease of another item with the same value as the original lease. The credit is realized off the total cost of another purchased item of similar value and similar item(s).

      Good afternoon I paid off my Buddys account and within the same month literally a week after paying it off my washer wasnt working. I contacted Buddys and they came out to pick up my washer but informed me that I would 1. Have to wait until the 9th of May because they had no one to fix it and 2. If I needed a washer I would have to pay on another one for the time period that mines was gone. I didnt complain I just told ***** that I would rent another for two weeks until mines was ready. 2 1/2 weeks went by and I called to see what was up with my washer. I was advised that it had been ready and no one made an attempt to at least call me. I set it up for the filling next day because that day i had doctors appointments. Now today is June the 8th and I get a call saying that I owe $58??? And I ask why. The manager states that its for the washer. I immediately asked where is my original washer and why no one has been out? He put me on hold and then came back stating that they have been trying to get in touch with me!!! Which is a bold face lie! Im disable. I have a ****** and I am home 24/7! No one has came by or called me! For two years I paid my bill. I probably was late 2 or 3 times but I always contacted them. For them to lie and say they have been in contact with me is wrong. I was even Going to rent a recliner from them but if this is how they do business, its best I take my money somewhere else. I feel like at this point they should just keep the washer they give for inconvenience or bring me back mines and erase the debt because I been home waiting for my original washer for weeks! I have cameras all around my home and not one Buddys truck has pulled up! This is unacceptable, Buddys do better!

      I have reached out to the district manager of 18 times and no one is answering! On top of that Buddys is trying to charge me

      again for a washer that was a replacement. So at this point the district manager does Want to speak with me and I am stuck with Buddys continually trying to charge me because they have not brought my original washer back. I have been. Home every day, I mean EVERDAY AND NO ONE has came to my door but one time when I was late and asked them to come to my house to get the cash payment they had no problem getting here! This is ridiculous and they are taking advantage of people and scamming them out of more money. Who is high up beside the district manage?

      I have been a customer of **********************'s before at this location, which was an awful experience but in the end things worked out. I decided to go back and make a second purchase from them. In hopes that the experience this time would be better. In February of 2024 I went in to purchase lap top for my son as a graduation gift. I was informed it was pre-owned, by one other customer of theirs and only for a couple of weeks. Which I was fine with as I am aware things from this store are at times leased and returned. However, I was assured that if there were any problems that it would be taken care of with no issues at all. And was advised that the option of a brand new replacement was available had anything gone wrong with the pre-owned. Well, sure enough there was a problem with the computer not connecting to the internet and mouse pad not working. I took the computer into the store and spoke with the manager *******, and she said they would send it off to be taken care of and would have it back with in a week. That then turn into 2 weeks. She never reached out to communicate anything with as to what is going on with fixing the laptop. I was the one who had to call her every few days to touch base on the situation. After a week of already having the lap top she stated that there were issues that they were unable to get resolved and at this point with approval from her regional manager, she would have a new replacement ordered. And that this process would only take about 1-2 weeks. She informed me that as soon as she heard back from her RM she would call me to let me know it was "ok" to order replacement. SHE NEVER CALLED. I had to again reach out myself to only be given misinformation multiple times. Finally was told new one is ordered and would be in by the end of the week. We are on week 4 and still no replacement laptop that I am still paying for. This location has poor communication within the store and with there customers. Still sitting with no resolution.

      She has been given another laptop as the one she had could not be ordered.  This takes time to get product and the store only has 2 employees.  They got her another laptop and I will adjust the rates on this laptop.  Customer had not paid for the weeks she was without a laptop.
