Purchased a vehicles from Manheim Georgia Auto Auction. The vehicle did not have any announcements of structural damage. The truck condition report shows the structural part of the vehicle was good. After I purchased the vehicle I checked the truck and realized the truck has structural damage. Manheim even wrote on the **** of sale an announcement of structural damage vehicle.I filed an arbitration and Manheim Georgia ruled against me saying the vehicle was announced with structural damage.Attached are pictures showing the truck announcements and condition reports which none of them mention structural damage. Also a copy of the **** of sale that Manheim announce structural damage. Obvious the **** of sale is written after the vehicle is purchased.

      Business response

      03/07/2022

The management team at Manheim Georgia stated that the vehicle arrived at their location on January 5th and it did not receive a condition report.  The seller sold the vehicle AS IS, and the Biohazard announcement populated Manheim's system on January 6th.  Structural damage populated the system on January 10th.  The vehicle was then offered for sale on January 11th and was sold on January 25th with the structural and biohazard announcement in Manheim's system.  These announcements were also on the screen at the time of bidding.  The auctioneer made the announcements before the vehicle was sold and the information was in Manheim's system for ***************************************-Santajulian to preview before purchasing the vehicle.

      Complaint: 16819083

I am rejecting this response because this vehicle was never announce that had structural damaged.  I am submitting again copy of the announcements and condition report of the vehicle made by Manheim. On the condition report was stated the structural was good (with green check ****). On the announcement was disclosed BioHazzard, Third Party Seller, AS IS and Third Party Seller. If the auctioneer made any new announcements of the vehicle prior or during the sale, then my proxy bid should be canceled since my proxy bid was submitted prior those announcements been made.

I would like to ask the management team of Manheim where those announcements were made. I am providing their announcements as a proof of my claim. The only structural damage announcement that was made was on the **** of Sale (I already purchased the vehicle so that announcement should be disclosed prior the proxy bid was submitted). As I ****** Manheim Arbitration reviews can see the MANY upset customers based on their reviews. For example case 0443-6001743 with the BBB claimed that Manheim mislead with their vehicle reports and arbitration is fraudulent. BBB is rating Manheim with a -B.

That BBB rating speaks volume on how they do business,

      Sincerely,

      ****************************************************************

After careful review of ********************-Santajulian's claim, Manheim stands behind the final decision that was made regarding the outcome of the arbitration on the vehicle that ********************-Santajulian purchased.

      Complaint: 16819083

I am rejecting this response because:

I have submitted pictures of all the announcements and condition reports on the vehicle showing my position (those announcements and condition reports were made by Manheim). Manheim did not support and did not submitted any of their claims on their announcements.

I asked to all the employees that I communicate at Manheim to send me proof of their announcement that they claimed. My request was never fulfill by Manheim. They still never proof their claim on the vehicle the vehicle announcements.

in a court of law the claims that stands are the ones that have evidences. Mine have evidences because I have submitted the pictures of Manheim announcements and vehicle condition report. Manheim did not submitted any evidences on their claims. If we were in a court of law I would win my case.

My evidences are presented in this response again. The vehicle report was done by Manheim.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************************-santajulian

I purchased a ****** Maxima through a dealer from Manheim in July 2021 I paid the dealer $5300 for the auction price and $135 for inspection. The car wasnt supposed to have any issues. The engine light was on a spewing evaporation. Went to a ****** dealer who also saw rust and said that the car should have never been sold. Informed the dealer and Manheim. No one did anything. Manheim said that they couldnt do anything because I was not the buyer. I have the title and everything. Fast forward to now, the car has only been driven about 3 months and is now inoperable. It needs a new engine costing $7995. The car originally came fromyou all. It was my money used. I have receipts. You need to take this car that us inoperable and refund me all the money I paid. And repair costs. I alerted you both. Im also attaching an estimate I got to trade in the vehicle. This is how much it was actually worth. Have multiple mechanics who can attest to this

      Complaint: 16659198

I am rejecting this response because: the only time your customer had the vehicle in his possession was when he paid you. He then handed it off to me and said that the car didnt have issues. That was a lie. You all wont share information that could help with me trying to resolve the matter. He said the bid was $5300 and an inspection was done. After having several mechanics look at it, that cant be the case. The name of the dealer that you all have on file is not the name of the business he used to sell the car. I am the one with the title. The cars engine light came on within 9 days. Seller didnt do anything and neither did you all. Are yall in the business of lying about cars?

      Sincerely,

      *************************

Several months ago my Jeep had been towed and was at Manheims location in *******. Once I was able to get my Jeep out of the lot I found numerous problems with it that were not there before being towed. The antennae was missing, my safe under the seat had been busted open, one of my wheels was banged up and missing the caps and when driven it wouldnt steer straight and ended up having to replace steering components. I originally filed a complaint and was quickly assured by a representative of Manheim it would be looked into. After a few days I was contacted and was told by the representative at Manheim that even though they did not believe their company was responsible for the damage they would agree to reimburse me $300 for damages. It has been approximately 5 months and I have not received any compensation as originally stated. I have emailed the representative numerous times with no response and no help in this matter. I feel as if I was blown off and told something to get me to drop it. If they had made right on their promise to pay I wouldnt be here again filing this issue.

I had my vehicle towed (repo) around the beginning of December 2021. I have been trying to reach the company to find out when I can pay and get my car back. I have had the money to pay what I owe and been unsuccessful in reaching any civil employees to help me. I need to know how to get my car back as I need to work
