I allowed the company to do a background check and after doing more research I told the recruiter I didnt want to work for this company and asked how to be terminated from the system. She advised me to do nothing and I would drop off their system if I didnt add my insurance or pay platform fees. So thats what I did and now theyre billing me for months of platform fees and never dropped me off. They gave me false information in order to scam me out of money.Business response

I recently got scammed into paying a 125$ fee to register for the *** on December 26 2021. I was told that the money would be refunded as soon as I registered and started my license. It turns out you have to refer 3 people and get 3 clients in the first month or you don't get a refund. The recruiters were really friendly but upon looking the company up more I would not like to be a part of it. I would like them to delete all my information since they have my SSN and my credit card number. They did not provide accurate information and details before making you pay. This company completely misrepresented itself to me. They said I would be a recruiter for the company but did not mention that I would have to sell the insurance or how their business model was until AFTER I paid them $125! After the "interview" was over I did some more research and defintely don't want to work with them. I asked for a refund and for all my personal information to be taken out of their system, but I am unable to get a reply. I want my money back. Don't fall for their spiel as it is misleading and fraudulent.Business response

I inquired about becoming a agent with WFG through agent ********************* ************ ********************** , *********** invited me to attend a training in ******* **. I purchased the ticket (10/28/2021) for the event for $150.00 via cash app and was told I would receive the ticket via email the beginning of the following week. When I hadnt received the ticket by November 12 I cancelled my flight and requested a refund of $150 from *********** via email, no response! I text *********** and he informed me I would receive my refund the following Tuesday, still no refund. I then requested it twice via cash app and he declined the request both times. I was scammed out of $150 and I no longer want to be a agent with this companyBusiness response

On 12/20/20 I was hired on by an agent of Pinnacle Elite, for a financial consultant position. They did not tell me I had to sign 3 people up in the first month or you can not get a refund for the $125 licensing fee. They also ran a background check, have my social security number and credit card number. I would like a full refund and my data to be erased from this companies logs as they were not really transparent about their service or products. On November 4th I applied to a job on Indeed as a Financial Services Consultant for Principal Solutions LLC. Over a month later I was contacted about becoming an employee for Transamerica and on December 13th told I need to give my Social Security Number as well as Date of Birth and $130 to get a license to sell life insurance. I was then given access to training which focused on not life insurance but building a team and recruiting more people such as friends and family. I also found out this was not part of Transamerica or Principal Solutions LLC but another company called World Financial Group which is an MLM. I believe they took my money and I would like a refund as well as not to be contacted by them, or to have my personal information be used by them.Business response

On 12/08/2021 I was scammed into paying for a background check and course by a recruiter at one of the groups associated with World Financial Group. They signed a Docusign on my behalf while also obtaining my SSN, DoB, and credit card information. There were several red flags during this process (verbally asking for sensitive personal information, vagueness about the way revenue is generated, and an overall unnecessary sense of urgency) which prompted me to look more deeply into exactly who I was dealing with. I found that the company operates using MLM, and I am no longer interested in doing business with them. I have been misled. I am requesting 1) a refund of $125 for the background check and ***** for the training, 2) that WFG stop using my personal information, SSN, DoB, and payment information for any activity 3) my SSN, DoB, payment and personal information to be erased from the companys database, 4) my name and agent status to be permanently disassociated from WFG as well as for the contract to be terminated, 5) for WFG to stop sharing my with affiliates, 6) no further contact by the business or any of its associated groups.Business response

12/11/2021 I experienced a scam through a Transamerica and World Financial Group agent on 12/11/2021 who scammed me into signing up for World Financial Group without my consent and had me give out my social security number, date of birth, and email during a job interview through **************** in Arcadia. There was also a fee of 125$ for a course that was not part of the job description or any relation to the job I was interviewing for. This was charged on the company's card, not mine. I want to void the fraudulent insurance premium contract and remove my agent association with World Financial Group since I was told false information and was manipulated to proceed without full disclosure. I signed on with WFG to sell life insurance products, thinking that this was going to be a good opportunity for me to earn some extra cash. I was misled by this company as they were vague on the name of the company and did not tell me what it was until later on in the hiring process. I did not realize that this was a MLM company that wanted me to recruit friends and family members to be successful in their company. I would like to terminate my membership with WFG and request a full refund of the $125 that they told me was required for a background check and to set up an account.Business response

I was recruited Into WFG 48 hours ago, realized it is not *** accredited only after paying the $125 for so called background check. The business model and former employees negative comments on top of the mountain of complaints in the last 3 years with half being closed in the last 12 months didnt sit well with me. I borrowed that money from my mother and would like to be refunded the $125 as I am barely getting by. This feels like a scam.Business response
